wow, have a m0dded xbox 360 now.....wooot!
I'll be playing virtua tennis 2009 this weekend for it.
Meanwhile, on my m0dded wii... I have motion plus attachments and the new Tiger woods 10, Virtua tennis 2009, and grand slam tennis....ALL of which use the motion plus!
I think grand slam tennis may be more fun, but not sure yet. Anyway, both of these tennis games are FAR better than the wii sports tennis game....
looking forward to a nice weekend with friends and gaming

I have the original Falcon 4 in ring binder and 2 of them
Of course, I also have Falcon 4 allied force. Having 2 small kids now, I cannot find anytime to dig into flightsims again.

Guys, Grandslam Tennis is the S**T!!
Although it looks cutsie with the graphics, it's quite a hard game to master with the wii motion plus. Defintely a learning curve to playing it.
I really, really love this game. Playing at the French Open is the best. Sliding around here and there. And they've got the players racquets and clothes down to the T. The only thing that they missed is Andre Agassi. They got all the other greats like; Sampras, Edberg, Borg, Becker and McEnroe, but no Agassi? Apart from that, I give it a 9/10!!
It would be alot of fun with mates or at parties.

agreed. virtua tennis 2009 for wii isn't nearly as good.
by the way, do you move yourself from side to side with the directional buttons? or do you let the computer move you.
have you figured out how to do lobs/drop shots?

Are there still a lot of people playing UT2004?
I have been playing UT3. The only active servers are for TDM/DM and VCTF and some warfare. UT is so splintered now with groups of people playing all 3 versions, but no big group like there was in '99.

I let the computer move for me. Apparently you can connect the nunchuck, but I think that would be more of a hinderance. To do a lob you hold 'A' while swinging. To do a drop shot, you hold 'B' (button on the back) while swinging.

Do you have it? I'm leaning more towards NBA Live 10 - they seem to be getting even reviews. I've had the last 3 or 4 NBA 2K games but am just kind of bored with it.

I have 2k10, and it is the better game. More game modes, the My Player mode is good, and the gameplay is great.

Been playing the hell out of the FIFA 10 demo for the last week.
I want to pick it up......BUT at the same time I'm not sure if I will as I haven't played FIFA 09 for a few months because I got bored of it. I think FIFA 09 was the only game I played for about 4 months straight.....
IMHO - the new game play is an improvement and it makes it harder to score and the games look more like real soccer. However, I think the graphics haven't improved and in some cases look worse.....
I"m also looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 (can't decide if I should get it for my PC or Xbox) Just Cause 2, Spinter Cell Conviction, and Mass Effect 2.

I bought Halo 3 ODST a few days ago and its a good game. I just got done playing some single player and multiplayer and so far the single player has been solid. There really isnt a lot of changes though, there is no new weapons or vehicles, its really what it says it is an expansion. When they make another Halo game they need to make it where people can join a multiplayer game while in progress similar to the Call of Duty games because it sucks when people quit. At least with the COD games when someone quits another player comes in and replaces the quitter.
Also Im looking forward to the new Call of Duty game.

I never got into Halo. I just picked up and Xbox last year and my last console before that was the first play station so I totally missed all the excitement about Halo.
I thought about getting ODST, but the reviews sounded like only Halo fans would really appreciate it....

OK, dumb question. Does NBA 2K10 have the new Timberwolves court on it or do they still have the old checkerboard looking floor on the game. my Team (the Wolves) suck so I at least want to have the updated court for them to play on :???:

Haha! It's pretty tricky to start of with, it's taken me 2 weeks to start to feel comfortable with it.
The defenders on there are so powerful, little players like Messi get barged off the ball so easily but if you can get the skilled dribbling working then it's brilliant. If you find the skilled dribbling tricky then it's very hard to score at all.

Noticed this in the demo. Very easy to get pushed off the ball and you have to be able to create space if you want to get a shot off. On top of that, the defenders lunge and dive for the balls in very realistic ways.
FWIW - Scored a sick backheel goal from about 12 yards out yesterday in the demo with Messi...... maybe I will get it afterall.....

The only thing about the game that isn't so great is the shooting, the finesse shot goes wide 9 times out of 10 (even when you are alone and through on the keeper).
They have improved everything in the gameplay, apart from the shooting which was gone backwards.

It does for the 360/ps3 versions, but not for ps2 I think.
Trust me this game is fun, it's not perfect, but it's probably the best NBA game I've played and most fun.

I havent played bf 43 yet. I believe thats the download from bf bad company for around 15 bucks. Thats good you brought that up because I may have to buy that soon. I was a big fan of bf 1942, I used to play that game religiously everyday. BF 42 was one of the best pc games I ever played such as the battle of omaha beach, battle of berlin, battle at stalingrad, battle at iwo jima, etc... it was a great ww2 online game.

Bad Company I personally thought, was horrible. Only the destructive enivronments were the real highlight. But no, BF 1943 isn't a DLC for just Bad company, it's its own game.

IMHO - Bad Company is fun in online multiplayer.
I liked the single player too, but more for the humor.
Haven't tried BF 1943 - not into WWII games....
I just bought bf43 about an hour ago and so far its good. Its kind of a hybrid of bf42 and bad company with the destructive environments. I hope they make more maps including the ones in europe such as the battle of stalingrad, battle of berlin, battle of omaha beach, etc... I preferred the european theater more in bf42 then the pacific front.
I wonder if people still play bf42 online.

it really depends on what resolution youll be running crysis in.
For 1920 1200, you need pretty much top of the line stuff to run it maxed out. fast i7, 6 gig fast ram, ssd, gtx27+ X2, that will run it good at that resolution +

I just got it this week, though I have to finish COD 2 first (I know, I know I'm running behind). I have the opposite problem, I need cool games that will run on a circa 2005 laptop (admittedly a pretty kick butt machine for the time but still). The demo ran fine on lower resolutions.

I get decent results from running Crysis on my rig. Usually get a good 20 fps on medium to high with no anti-aliasing.
