Have you seen Kubot play lately? I think it w/b harder than that. Kubot has a bit more of a net game than most players on the tour these days. Tho I agree Youzhny will probably win, it w/b mostly because of Kubot's failure to close at the end. He had a very close match with Troicki in Doha in which he failed to convert several match points, mostly because of fear of success, I believe.
I'll vote for Kubot in 5 just because I want him to win!

I looked at that schedule just a couple hours ago, and they hadn't announced it at that time. Too bad. Even for Kubot, although I assume he'll get enough practice in his dubs matches.

Good point! That was on clay, and it was a close one. Here, Kubot beat Zverev in straights, for what that's worth ...... Not sure what form Kubot's in atm, but Novak's not quite in form yet, so that could be a good one...

Ic, it is quite disappointing
had been rooting for YZ since the Gasquet match and he has to withdraw when facing a seemingly "easier" opponent

Hand started to hurt in the first match against Richard
Gasquet - said the Russian, who at press conference
after that meeting came with a ice pack.
But then he shrug off this problem and played in pain with Jan Hajek. After match he consulted doctor and learned that he can play with pain but may risk serious consequences.
