That's not ambition. Ambition is left at the door when you grow out of your tweens. It's now ego only. Yes he's still young, but it's ego all the same. Nadal ACTS humble in public, yes he can fool people like you. He does think he is perfect on the court, else he would show some kudos when an opponent makes an ungettable shot. If a shot is ungettable, why the hell would he be upset? He is NOT perfect.
Yes but you can see right through him can't you?
Such childish posts. You actually think you can judge a player because he is too ambitious? What about a player who wishes hawkeye to be turned off? Would that say something about federer? Or what about that time he smashed a racket? Does that say something about roger? I think hit for haiti says more things about Roger than those things but then again haters will be haters, even if they try to disguise it.
Ambition is left at the door? Brother,if you don't have ambition you don't have nothing. Sure you need talent, work and luck but ambition is the main ingredient to succeeding in life. How can someone have such a big ego and be such a nice person? When all were crowning him king he was saying to fed that he was gonna break sampras's record(which he did)? When they kept asking about Fed in Spain at the spaniard of the year awards he kept saying that fed is the best he ever played against even though those spaniards would have liked to hear something else? When he lost in RG he said Fed deserves to win it the most? When he lost in AO he said it is Murray's time to win it? He lets Novak make fun of his habits in front of the Rome crowd with a lot of self-irony involved and yet he is such a bad and egotistical person, right?
The way he handles with relationship with Fed,the AO moment, the rome moment, even how he reacted when he got attacked(kissed) by that fan in USO speaks volumes about his character.
He doesn't think he is perfect on court otherwise he wouldn't be saying at press conferences "I played very well but I lost".
