I know that..I had told him these things too..But the point is the services that he has.If you want a Grand Slam class racket services you can trust him!I am sure about that!

The site looks great but wouldn't it do more good at TW Europe? Here in the states there are 15-20 "grand slam stringers" so sending racquets to Greece isn't feasible.

I iunderestand you..I don't know about the TW-Europe.I just want to help and advice anybody that have problem to find an excellent stringer or someone to make for him a racket customization!I know that the prices are low for the services so I made this threat!
It's your choice!;)

Love the photo gallery, but as others mentioned, it is too slow.

As for sending a frame to Greece to string, it wouldn't be worth it. Perhaps customization, but with R. Proke, N. Ferguson, R Yu, Bosworth, etc, etc, etc right here in the USA, it would quite frankly be dumb.

in the Wimbledon 2008 gallery bottom left- scroll through do you see that wilson 95 12x16????!!!!

http://www.racketspecialist.gr/Photo_Galleries/Pages/Wimbledon_2008.html#7

That's Mark Woodfordes custom drilled wilson. Same string pattern as his old Snauwaert Hi-Ten. The string is BBO in 1.6mm gauge specially made for him.

Petros is a top, top stringer. Great professionalism and high quality stringing. He's also a great laugh to work with, even more so in the pub after a long day's stringing. Just ask Richard (Parnell).

Regards

Paul

yeah, I was wondering about that. I'm curious if he strung it like that, or the racquet is custom.

I also noticed quite a few Star 4's.....Just like mine. :)

The racket is custom made and it is Mark Woodforde's..It has unbelievale specs......
even the string!

True, but guys I made the whole site myself! I even made the intro and the video gallery myself. Check at http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=843979.
What would you expect? I try to find a way to shrink the pics but needs time.
Copyright is active for this year as well, only needs to change the year at the pages too.

I run a few websites and if those 2 little things are the only things I have to say about your site it's safe to say you are doing a good job :)

Updating the year is important as it is something everyone will notice

Keep up the good work on the website and with stringing of course!

Petros Biris is a USRSA MRT since 1995!

Why isn't he listed as a MRT on USRSA.com ?

I am a USRSA MRT since 1995. After the birth of ERSA (European Racquet Stringers Association) that was founded in the Summer of 2001 as a partner corporation with the United States Racquet stringers Association, being tested through USRSA for the MRT status is the same as if you did it through ERSA. ERSA has a cooperation and offer the same Certification Tests as the USRSA for european professionals.
Still I have both MRT certificates as well as being a tester, ERSA manager for Greece and ERSA Pro Tour Certified (only experienced MRT's that have vast experience in top professional events). I need though to update my status for USRSA which is a formal process and is just a matter of time.
For those interested, ERSA website http://www.ersa-stringers.com/about.php is currently under construction.

Hello Petros and congrats with a nice looking website!

Can you tell me a little more of the benefits of being a member of the ersa?
I`m really interested in stringing and customization and would like to learn more.
Is the any study guide like they have in the usrsa, and a chance to become a certified stringer?

Kind regards

Hi and thanks! Of course there is a study guide which is the same (ERSA is the "sister" of USRSA. Becoming bigger and bigger in Europe is as a matter of fact closer to the European citizens. ERSA runs the same tests, CS, MRT plus Pro Tour certification. You can join ERSA and benefit from Racquet Tech Europe magazine, The ERSA Stringer’s Digest, the site(currently under construction), ERSA e-Newsletter, workshops, certification and product testing. You may even follow a workshop available near you. Where is your residence? I can help more if I know where you live.

Hi again Petros!

I live in Norway, where tennis isn`t exactly the most popular sport :).
So do you recomend I become a member of the ersa, and just follow their study guide?

I would suggest that you become a member. If you want you can email me through http://www.racketspecialist.gr/racketspecialist_contact_en.html your full name, email, telephone, fax, address and I can do that for you. In such a case you must transfer 89 euros/per year. I am also running a full day workshop in Athens, Greece this February 28th. If you are interested pls let me know asap!
More details on personal email.
