Any love for Avery racquets?

I don't see anyone talking about them. If you own one or have hit with one please chime in.

I have looked at them and think the spec's look great. If you use the power map feature and compare the M5 to the Prince Classic oversize (which everyone compares it to) The M5 walks all over it Same with the M3 power if you compare it to other 95sq in racquets

I've been told (in this thread) that the sticks I'm using were made from the same mold now being used to make Avery racquets. I guess mine are closest to the Power Mid, since mine's about 6pt head light.

I love 'em. I'd probably buy an Avery stick if I needed a replacement. I have to admit the price point seems a little high, though, particularly if the mold is an older Prince cast-off.

But, I have to say that I *love* the sticks I have. So, I bet I'd love the Avery products!

Check out the Pro Supex website. The "Extra Classic II" is a clone of the Avery M3 Control. A bit on the heavy side but teamed with its very headlight balance it's a very maneuverable racket. It is absolutely rock solid and to me, resistant to twisting - a very solid experience.

Avery Racquets are the real deal ....

The M3 Control is a great player's stick ..... a little heavy in the third set for an older player ...... but should be a dream racquet for a younger player with developed strokes.

They are both clones of the Prince Precision Graphite 640..........

TW lists the M5 head size at 110 sq in. Was the older Prince mold mentioned upthread 107 or 110? (Prince used to round off 107 to 110, but they stopped a long time ago.)

Nice sticks

Used both M3 and M5 while recovering from tennis elbow. They allowed me to keep playing (used gut strings) instead of having to shut it down completely.

The M5 definitely felt like the POG in terms of power and control. Funny, but I don't remember the POG being that soft. Twenty years can dull the memory, eh?
