There's a live webcast of the draw tomorrow with Rafa from the CN Tower. It's @ 2100BST - not sure what time that is in Canadia.

I think that's 4PM in this part of Canadia  do you know where they'll stream the draw from?

Looks like Murray is in Nadal's half and Federer is in Djokovic's half.

And, as far as I understand, Soderling and Roddick are in Nad's half and Davydenko and Verdasco are in Djoker's half.

Hopefully the draw is posted up soon so we can get a look at it.

Aha! Falla Fed again! This could be the 4th consecutive time Fed has had to gone through Falla in the early rounds.

If that draw is right, I'll take Djoker to win this event and solidify his #2 ranking.

Good to see "they" didn't rig the draw and left Simon and Nalbandian on opposite sides of the draw.

Djoko always gets the best draws! Well, at least he gets Fed in the SF... with the #2 ranking on the line (assuming Fed gets past Berdych).

...

Sweet! If all goes to plan looks like I get to see Nadal vs. Wawrinka on Wednesday night!

Hopefully Federer vs. Amalgro Thursday morning

Interesting that both times Fed won the Rogers Cup, it was held in Toronto.

As for the other top guys: Roddick, Djoker and Murray have all won a Rogers Cup title, but never in Toronto. Nadal has won in both Montreal and Toronto.

I'll take a risk and say Nadal, even though he might still be in party mode and rusty after Wimbledon.

On the Rogers Cup website, it says that:

Tuesday (day): Djokovic
Tuesday (night): Federer
Wednesday (day): Murray
Wednesday (night): Nadal

Let the action begin! :)

Because Djokovic has the easiest draw out of the top 4 players yet again, I've voted for him.
And he also seems to have overcome his fitness problems.
He'll be the freshest for the semis and final.

I usually always vote for who I really think will win, but this time I'm going with who I want to win.

Murray to defend his title. Stop laughing at the back.

What did you think of his form at LA?
I can't vote for him after that performance.
The persistent passivity was making me ill.
What happened to the Murray from Wimbledon?

I agree, Fedace, that Murray seems to continue with his reliance on defense, consistency, change of pace, all around game to win, instead of trying to find a weapon. his forehand is simply not a weapon and IMO he really needs to beef it up, if he wants to win a slam on ANY surface. Consistency and speed alone will not cut it these days. You gotta have a weapon.

I don't know which Federer or which Nadal will show up at this tournament. Given Roger's performance of late and Rafa's issues with hard courts, I've got one going out in the quarters and the other going out in the semis. Picking Roddick to win.

Some notes from this weekend at the Rogers Cup

In Qualification, Marchenko looked really good and as did Mathieu.

Robredo - looking really good in practice, what a workhorse

Federer - saw him practice twice and the first time he looked sloppy, but the second time he was much more focused... probably cause he practiced with Soderling the second time

Soderling - looked really good but serve looked a bit sloppy

Gasquet - forehand's really improved, but he looked pooped out in practice

Ferrer - looked really ferocious, as usual, in practice AND made it a point to step in to the baseline and play aggressive as much as he could

Querrey - practiced w/Ferrer.... not impressive

Feli Lopez - terrible... but I didn't see much of him

De Bakker - looked really good, he was practicing with Murray and he was playing really aggressively

Murray - he looked good in his first practice session and was having a fun time, but in his second practice session that I saw (w/De Bakker) he was really frustrated with his forehand and his left ankle... His serve looked decent

LOL watching Murray was funny. I was leaning over the fence right beside him for a while and I only clapped for the points where he actually played aggressively, and I did it sarcastically... he seemed to find it funny, so when he came around signing autographs I didn't have anything to sign, but I stuck out my hand for a handshake and said "be aggressive, buddy" and he cracked up and said something I couldn't comprehend.

Maybe I should take up coaching :)

^^ Thanks for the report. Perhaps we can set up TTW as Murray's coach. Have guys stationed at every tournament to tell him to be aggressive in the same manner. Can't miss on that plan I think.

I think we could really make a difference.

Can't see anyone stopping Nadal at this point. Djokovic has the chance considering his draw, but Djokovic almost always fails to take advantage of great draws. I assume Murray will still not be 100% as far as his confidence goes, and Federer is the huge question mark, by judging by his previous MS efforts this year, I'm not giving him more than a 3rd round exit.
