Wonderful World--originally by Sam Cooke, recorded a bunch, I liked a version by Art Garfunkel with James Taylor and Paul Simon singing backup

Don't know much about the Middle Ages, looked at the pictures and I turned the pages...

I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing--classic Coca-Cola commercial, apparently performed by everyone in the world (though I never got my check...)

Never liked Chicago (the group, ambivalent about the city) but I'm unable to repress memories of their overplayed songs.

not to be a troll Chezbeeno, though I find the Strokes to be so overhyped ("Libertines lite"), that IS a good, upbeat tune off of--imho--their one decent album "First Impressions of Earth" - nice call/good song

You Only Live Twice - Nancy Sinatra

I find that as far as their albums go Room on Fire is almost entirely upbeat and quite excellent, my favorite actually, but the song I posted above is definitely one of my favorites

Let's Hear That String Part Again, Because I Don't Think They Heard It-Sufjan Stevens
