so good weekend in the d dot c sobad?
Yeah I spent the weekend in a hotel room crying while holding my racquets thanks to you know who. Happy?
lol oh yeaaaaaaa which hotel
I was bulldozed into a movie theater to watch the new Wall Street sequel this weekend. The movie was predictably mediocre and mildly entertaining, but the girlfriend/wife or whatever character was very unbelievable and frankly awful.
I'm surprised. Carey Mulligan's is supposed to be terrific actress.
So do you think I should spent my money and go see it in the theater or wait for it on television?
I'm sure she would do a fine job playing a neurotic psychology major virgin at a mediocre rural school, but isn't so believable playing a woman of class sitting on a $100mil inheritance and wishing to donate it to charity. Don't go see it for the sake of seeing the movie. Let it come to you.
quest01, you watch too many movies. Too many bad ones, more specifically. This dang thread is littered with your B and C action and horror films.
Maybe it's time you move on to Bergman, Fellini, Goddard, and fare like that?
lol What can I say I have a unique taste in movies.
"The Misfits".
Made me more fully understand the appeal of Marilyn Monroe.
Watch "Niagra"
I actually think I saw some or all of it years ago, but don't remember much. (I've also seen "Niagra, Niagra" for that matter!)
There's this waterfall that's memorable until you actually visit it.
Not really a movie...but watched few episodes of the funny british show 'The IT Crowd' ...
Last movie I saw that is worth mentioning "Shutter Island" ...superb
I visited the waterfall a few years ago since i was in that general area on other business. I think it's worth seeing, and I found it more memorable than the movie "Niagra", though I don't remember seeing any Marilyn Monroe types hanging around.
They were wearing raincoats, misty raincoats and hats.
