No. From what I understand Boyer and McCoy frequently practice against each other, so they know each other's games well. Based on rankings, I would say McCoy would have a slight advantage, but I would guess a close match. For USTA's, McCoy beat Boyer in 3 sets in their only matchup last year.

If Boyer plays at the very top of his game ( like he did at state and in his one match with Mccoy) he has the potential to beat anyone on that day. He has a much bigger game than Mccoy. Problem is consistency, fitness and court coverage can be much better, but he has been working at these things. If he has a normal or worse day he could lose 6-2 6-2, or if he is playing his best he can win it.

Normal day, it's a three set loss, He's on, he is awesome! Who is the pro behind him? Are we talking Donley, or Lexie?

He's got to play at the very top of his game to get a set or 2, otherwise youre looking at about a 6-3 6-3 loss. I play with them both extensively. As far as teaching goes, he just does group at fridley and works with a pro at St Louis Park from time to time, and hits with me, mccoy etc 4-5 days a week.

I got my acceptance letter in the mail today, Ima meet the coach and visit campus in a couple weeks

With all the McCoy and Boyer talk I thought I would jump in.

If they're both playing normal I think Wyatt would win about 3 n 2 like Tony said. They just had a pretty close match in Lakeville about a month ago? It was 6 n 4 or 5 n 4. The only thing is, is once Wyatt gets into trouble he doesn't miss a shot. Literally. I watched one of his matches and he was down he didn't miss once in 3 or 4 games and it's not like he is just feathering the ball over either. I think his consistency would get to Boyer.

Tonlars would know more since he hits with them quite often. Congrats on the college!
