Open era Slams by racquet manufacturer - men and women, and surface breakdowns. Would love to see that.

Among men, I'd assume Wilson would have a comfortable lead based just on Sampras (14), Fed (16), and Edberg (6) (But among those 36, only 1 Slam on clay). Women too - Evert (18), Serena (13), Venus (7), Henin (7). That's just off the top of my head.

What did Graf switch to after Dunlop, Wilson or Head? When did she switch?

You left out Courier and his Wilson Pro Staff.

Graf swicthed from the Dunlop Max200G to the Wilson Pro Staff Classic 85 18x20 (a Pro Stock only frame that was not sold at retail) in 1994.

Head has the least slams despite all the fanboy-ism on the forum :)

If that is true logic would dictate that Head makes the best racquets, at least for the average consumer. In case your wondering what i mean, pro's are what sells racquets, that's why they are payed so much by the racquet companies, and according to you Head's roster of pro's hasn't had much success and yet using this forum as an indicator of popularity they have a huge following, thus head = the shiznat.

It's also notable that HEAD has sponsored players ranked 3,4,5, and even though Berdych doesn't have a stencil I'm sure he is helping sales.

Plus Youzhny at number ten, and you have half of the world's ten best players using HEAD racquets with paint jobs for all four of their major lines of racquets.

That's because Head racquets are AVERAGE. Great champions are UNIQUE.

Lol i use a wilson (6.1 tour) anyway i was just trying to say each brand has things to offer no need to put any of them down, head sells alot of racquets for a reason as do the other companies. I would heed you to take note of the fact that your using a pro stock wilson, hardly an affirmation of how "unique" wilsons are.

Who cares? Champions aren't determined by the racquets they use, its their talent that wins, not the brand of their equipment.

Or, the players Head chooses are popular whether they win or not. :)
