The "25 Coolest Athletes of All Time" are discussed in this latest issue of GQ. Borg made the list and so did Mr. Ashe. Michael Jordan is actually on the magazine cover.

Right on BNO! The BB legend will never die! :)

You and I will make sure of that even if we're teh last men standing

We wont allow anything, not even Fedal, to stand in the way of the one, the original, the OG goat! 8)

Thanks jerriy very much. Well I do think it's important that we remember all past greats for sure. That's very important for tennis. I admire both Nadal and Federer a lot as well, but of course, for me, Borg will always be an inspiration. If you grew up watching him play, it's a little difficult to convey how unique he was as a tennis player and as a person I believe as well. Extremely talented individual, with great modesty and style, without ever "basking in the limelight", so he was very self effacing. Becker said no one knows how you are going to react, the fans are awe, his parents are in awe, everyone is just in awe of this young sensation called Bjorn Borg. You know how some players are all gear and no game? Well, Borg was a guy that played like he should be wearing fila, diadoras, and hitting with a premium Donnay frame.

Say it with me folks, "Borg is god, Borg is god"! Nastase and Villas are the only guys I recognize in the "great clay courters of the '70's" picture. Re. Murray in the weight vest-he looks tough and cool, not like his usual nerdy self (sorry Murray fans).

Ha, yeah. You can hardly call Peter Carter "the other guy." He's largely responsible for the Roger Federer we all know and love and may very well still have been his coach today if it weren't for a horrible car accident that took his life.

Thanks for the heads up!

It's always fascinating to put a name and a face on the source of magic (as opposed to merely indulging in bland and unnoteworthy references like Wikipedia's at "twelve... at fourteen... was chosen to train at the Swiss National Tennis Center")

Not like nadal. Nadal Spanish bull always wet of the sweatsalivaspit.

With a comment like this, I really hope you check the box with the big 'F' on medical forms and not the one with a big 'M'.... but if you don't... ( the proverbial ) ... 'Not that there's anything wrong with that.'

Yannick. Sure, every third shot was a shank, but he looked better doing it than anyone in history.
