I remember finding a table listing some of the pros their string setups, however I forgot where to find it. Can anyone give me a link?

I'd question those Australian Open 2011 string tensions since the list includes players like Tim Henman, Jiri Novak, Greg Rusedski, Mark Philippoussis, and quite a few more who I don't remember being in this year's draw.

Right you are some funny inclusions in that list.

I don't follow Roddick much so I don't know anything about the strings he uses but these numbers seem a bit funny too:

Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour/Babolat VS Team 73/61lbs

So his mains are a poly that's strung 8lb tighter than his natural gut crosses? That seems totally backwards to me.

I wouldn't trust that site. I can already see a fair number of their info is wrong

I was hoping there would be a more complete and more current list. There is usually a list after a major event. I'm surprised it hasn't been published yet somewhere.

That's very very very inaccurate.

All of these seem right, except for Federer. He uses Babolat's gut, not Wilson's. His setup: Babolat VS Gut Mains/ALU Power Rough Crosses, both at 42-48 lbs depending on the opponent and day.

it's wilson gut, and the pic of feds WILSON gut from priority one has been posted alot. so i will post it again.



and he strings higher now, like 46-51 depending on weather, surface and opponent

To Djokolate(I haven't figured out how to do the quote function yet ), My point was that Babolat makes Wilson's gut, so he technically uses Babolat Gut, not Wilson.

73 - 61 = 12...

I agree, that gap is just too large unless there is some serious difference in properties of the strings - beyond normal.

Good catch!! Some sloppy math on my part

Not only is the gap huge, usually you'd string the gut tighter and poly looser. So to me the difference is about 20lb off what I would think it should state

Nevermind, he's not playing San Jose. Since when has Roddick played at Delray? I don't ever remember him being in the draws...

Johnny, I believe this is the first year he will be playing it. Isner, delpotro, Blake, Fish, karlovic, tipsarevic, Scheutler, and a few others will also be playing. The seniors will include McEnroe, flipper, cash, wilander, etc.

Haha just kidding. He uses a prince ozone tour with a grip size of 2. His current outfit isn't available as far as I know. He uses big banger original.
