And I'm not just talking tennis. I would like to hear what your most memorable sport moment is that you witnessed. Whether it be your team winning the Superbowl or World Series, your favorite boxer winning the championship belt or even your favorite tennis player winning a slam.

Me personally, it was when my Aussie Rules team won the Grand Final last season after a 20 year drought.

When Ryan Giggs scored his memorable goal in the FA Cup against Arsenal in 1999. Due to time difference it was on in the middle of the night and i got up to watch the match and watched the whole of it just excitement right from the beginning and i had a Physics test the morning after. But well worth it.

Latrell Sprewell scoffing at the 93 million dollar contract he was offered, noting something to the effect of "I got a family to feed."

Is that rugby in the second video? I like the commentators smoking-you wouldn't see that in the US. As for my favorite sports moment, I'd have to say the Super Bowl (professional American football's championship game) where the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots, denying them an undefeated season.

MJ's last shot against the Jazz to win the NBA championship

And my last one is the Flyers (fav NHL team) coming back from 3-0 down to beat Boston last year

Was a bad year for Boston sports last year...

We will be back up this year. Maybe not racking up the championships like we were for a little there but we will be back to winning ways.

The 04 playoff run for the Sox was memorable. More so than any other teams runs. Just the way they beat the yanks after losing in the extra innings the year before. Down 0-3 to team with the kind of talent the Yanks had that year was something very special. We will not see a team with that kind of talent and perosnality around here for a long time. Between the Damon idiot thing to the Cowboy up of Millar it was just something special.

Well this could a tough one but....

-Kirk Gibson hitting the homerun in Game 1 of the 88 World Series.
-Agassi winning his first Grand Slam, Wimbledon, when no one thought he would ever win a GS.
-Novotna crying on the Duchess of York's shoulder after her Wimbledon collapse.

Just too many to remember...

Ivanisevic winning Wimbledon in 2001. That was the most dramatic match I've ever seen, and Ivanisevic's reaction when he won was awesome.

My most memorable sports moment came in playing a tennis league matchup, against a man who was a highly respected, very experienced match player. I lost 8-10 (it all came down to about 2 points), playing tough and hanging tough, not caving in and playing hard and steady.

It was a loss, but a "general-ship" victory for me. I did what had to be done, I did all I could do, I certainly surprised him with my tenacity and competitiveness.

Win-wise, I had another league match against a guy who was just playing lousy. I raced out to a 6-2 lead, only needed to reach 10, and felt I pretty much had the match in the sack.

As these things can go, it was premature celebration. He got better the more he played, and the point combinations I had been successful with dried up. I won 10-7, and was damn glad to get off the court.

Watching my son toss in a last-second 45-footer to win a high school basketball game. Actually sort of a tie with watching my daughter run a long way to catch a foul fly ball in a softball game, then throw a strike to the catcher to nail a runner who'd tagged up from third base after the catch.

I will give you 2

#1 Kirk gibson grand slam to win the world series vs oakland !!!!!

#2 Ucla basketball Edney runs down the court 3 seconds left and scores to when the Ncaa tournament !!!

The Cubs winning the World Series

I have a bumper sticker (I live in Chicago and am a White Sox fan) that says "anyone can have a bad millenium" :)

Mine would be between the Fedal Wimbledon final in 2008, Jordan's last second shot against the Jazz, or going 27-1 on my high school basketball team

I was in a very competitive 3 legged race, with lots of bad blood between the teams. My partner Scott and I got off to a bad start and had the obligatory stumble and tumble in the first few yards.
Then we found our coordination and we raced through the filed and romped home in first place.

Oh, the adulation.

We were 10 years old.

My sporting life has been in decline since this peak.
