Oh, wow. If Asics has durability over Yonex I don't even want to know how fast I can put a hole in a pair of Yonex's.
I put a hole in my Resolution 2's in about a month by the way, during season. 2-3 hours a day/5 days a week in season.

As one person stated before. The Asics are soft but the Yonexes fit my feet better and are better cushioned. The Yonex shoes will not last very long though but if you are looking for ultimate fit and cushioning go for the Yonex SHT 306 or 307.

I can only compare Resolution 2 to 306/307: In R2 my foot sits up higher and feels unstable. The R2 is heavier and the tongue is so puffy it has no room at the ankle to be secured. I've heard the R3 has addressed some of these issues but I'd go with the 307s for performance and only consider R3 for durability issue.
Like anything, fit depends on your foot shape, etc... For me, the Yonex's were too narrow and caused me problems. Can't comment on wear because I play almost exclusively on clay.
