I'm like that too Tebow. I have about 12 matches from the past and when ever I see them, It makes me wanna go and play anywhere I can find someone to play. I really liked the Carlos Moya / Andy Roddick match Davis Cup match on clay a few years ago.

Even though I'm a Fed fan, I think my favorite Fed-Nadal match was the Rome Masters final that went to 5 sets where Nadal saved 2 match points to win the match.

I think I am the only person in the world who likes both Federer and Nadal the same. Everybody else usually loves one and hates the other. To me Federer is the most talented of history but it is AMAZING how Nadal can get to balls soooo close to the second bounce and hit unbelievables winners, and that is NOT just physical ability like so many people claim.

I don't mind Nadal but I enjoy the beauty of the Federer game.

I lived in spain for a little while so im pro spanish but I don't like Nadal. Nothing about his game but just his persona. I find him very fake and superficial.

Im up for trying UCF on friday or sat under the lights. At night there won't be anyone there and we can avoid some sun. Maybe better on sat so we can recover from friday. During spring break UCF turns into a ghost town. Just a thought.

Im happy with UBH but there is so much power on it. Might try a full job but I hate weaving poly /:. I can definitely feel the softness of the string and I can hit serves with no pain (amazing). Tension maintenance is good too.

If you have a hybrid, that is your problem..just weave the full poly and you will like the results. More spin, less power and you will be swinging out with the ball dropping in more often.

I like the Typhoon a lot..it is quite soft as well.

The more I am swinging out though, the more I am relating to your "too much power" issue. The PSTGT has some punch.

I hate myself... I lost 2 sets in which I had the advantage in all the games in both sets (serving and returning). Unbelievable. And you know what, That's not choking. I never choke. I don't care if I lose or win. I think I have to string a full bed of alu power at 65 because I'm fencing so many balls.

Tennis at UCF under the lights is fine with me but we'd have to carpool in your batmobile from across the street since you have parking tag. :)

When is spring break for UCF?

Good morning, I can hit, but Blanchard is a bit far for me today, and I save going there mostly on Friday's, but I am willing to meet you half way somewhere. I live near Ft. Gatlin tennis Facility. Let me know what you think and maybe we can come up with something. Miguel

The Mig is about to get spammed putting his e-mail in the post!

Played with Tecnifibre X1 Biphase last night. I was not expecting much since I heard everyone say it plays stiff at first then becomes a rocket launcher after a few hours. After wrapping up my match 1 and 1, I'll say my opinion of the string is extremely high!

haha..I should have stayed..probably for the best that I left. Coys buddy was saying how the guy was going to get mad and cause a scene due to us playing so long but I really didn't think much about it.

Sorry Miguel but nobody replied last night so i assumed there would be no tennis today. I just woke up and am heading to Ft Lauderdale in a bit.

Yeah there is an hour or 1.5 hour limit I believe. The guy who was waiting (i know him) won't hesitate to call the park patrol. Rules are rules though. But we had like 8 people on the courts too so ...

Hit a clean tweener winner of a lob today :). Ball flew perfectly like 1 inch over the net. Goran you were right. The softer strings really make a difference on the entire body.

What happened at BO? Fight for the courts?

Think the rule is 2hrs on the court per person. The only thing is you can simply say I just got here when ever somebody asks and you are good to go another 2hrs :)

I think there is 2 hr limit and NO PETS :) written on that board as we walk in :)

I had an opportunity to hit a tweener last night. I was playing so well I almost tried it but then I remembered I may want to have 1 more kid so I decided against it.

hehe. It isn't really the groin but my shin that im afraid of. Honestly I would rather get hit in the nuts than smack my shin with the frame. Those hurt and the bruises last a while.

I've smacked my shin about 10 different times on serves and it is no fun! :evil:

The guy was beyond rude. It is not just what you say it is also how you say.

Bob - likes balls in his strike zone. i try to give him otherwise...like i did hitting with you last time. ;) cause when he gets one and rips it, lotsa oral celebration happens. :)

got the Dunlop back from the kid and now it's up for sale or trade.

Yeah, your strokes were super well placed. I actually think that is a far better way to play tennis. Don't get me wrong, I like to decimate the ball when I can, but I'd rather be a little more precise in setting those shots up...it should help cut down on the UE's a little. Your Prestige seems like it is meant for that. The YT mid just reminded me a lot of yours even with the smaller headsize.

hard or soft or something in between as long as it's well placed keeps one dictating play ...mostly. ;)

Hey PP It was nice seeing you yesterday. And nice to get some tennis in before the rain :)

I owned YT Prestige Mid and I recently got to try Prestige Classic Mid and YT Mid was very very close to the classic. They really did a good job with YT mid if they were trying to replicate one of the history greats.

That being said I really liked Bad_call's Dunlop Mid that he let me use for just two serves. It was sort experience but It was really precise. It felt like easier to use YT Prestige Mid. Probably BC it was lighter.

Speaking of rackets yesterday I had to use YT Radical since bringing PT630 to last nights fight would be like bringing a bazooka to a knife fight or should I say push fight.

Quick question:
I am not sure if this happens to you guys but I regularly have guys change up tactics on me where they simply start hitting the ball from the butt up like padding the ball for these crappy 50 ft lobs where you cannot exactly attack so my second set last night turned into this boring overhead practice. I hated my life. I would NEVER do that to an opponent. If I am going to go down I will go down swinging not resulting to "Badminton tennis" just to win few more pts. I mean I would be embarrassed to try that, am I alone on this. I mean we are not 3.0 league so it was just a matter of me hitting the lobs and attacking the net on those push shots BUT GOD thats boring.

So the question is: Am I alone in this feeling of embarrassment? Are you guys willing to do anything to win points or there are some limits?

God I hate this league sometimes.

I like it a lot and I cannot remember when was the last time I played with a racquet in stock form :) I do think that I served a bit better with PD but the rest of the game is definitely better with PK. The biggest difference would be return of a big serves. With PD it was so hard (hard for me that is) to control the ball and I would spray a lot of returns. PK is flexy and it absorbs initial pace sooooo well. However, the racquet is very unique I must say. People either love it or hate it. Tebow tried it and returned it 45 seconds later :) He didn't like it one bit. If you like firm-to-stiff feel you would hate PK. Needless to say, next time we play, you are more than welcome to try it...

Who doesn't? :D When we play it is not only about tennis it is also 'trash-talk' war going on hence my oral celebrations ;)

Well, firstly you need to understand that any decent player in the league needs 30 seconds to realize that you hit harder and serve with more power, placement and accuracy. They have no other choice but to junkball you and give you no rhythm.
