I haven't played with full bed yet, but in a hybrid with WCSS I can't really feel any difference compared to previous version of VS. The only real difference I can see so far is durability. There is no fraying after 11 hours of play. The black colour started to go off in the centre of the stringbed after ca. 8 hours of play...

A related question that I am confused about. I use 17 gauge vs team which I understand provides more spin potential. However is there any discernible difference between 17& 16 when you have elbow issues?
Is one advantageous over the other.
Thanks in advance.
This is not a good question. The question should be: Which is more durable, the new BT7 gut or the previous generation of gut? The black color is just a color on top of a natural gut. It comes off after couple of hours of hitting anyway...For me, the new line of gut (BT7 technology) seems to be more durable. Mind you I am testing only the first set. I have also purchased Tonic with BT7 (both versions Ball feel and Longevity), but haven't tried it yet.So which is more durable, black or white?
Parasailing: TW Europe is already selling the full line up of BT7 including VS Team 17.
Yeah I noticed that but TW US is not . Glad the BT7 looks to be more durable. So you really do not notice any difference between the two? This is a good thing.

The 16 and 17 variant differ mainly in feel, playability, and durability with 17 being the ideal string if money is not an issue.
You probably won't be able to tell the difference in comfort as they are both arm friendly. I am waiting for TW to carry the VS Team in BT7 technology so I can do a playtest against the current version.
Ive never used the 15 gauge. As a cross and main, how does it differ from the 16 and 17?
I don't think there will be a difference between 16 and 17 in the realm of comfort.
