I thought for once ****** got a tough draw... I was wrong, it was a fluke.
Melzer falls, Delpotro doesn't show up, and now ****** has it straight to SF where he'll either moonball fed's backhand to the moon and possibly pluto, or play agaist Sod who's playing like crap.

So disregard my post on ******'s cakewalk streak being broken, it is STILL ALIVE! Going strong, 1.5 years of cake... he must feel full by now. Chocolate fruit cake!

Delpo would have owned him today, ****** escapes again! What a joke, this title is a fluke for ******. I hope Djokovic can own him in the finals...

Uh? The draw hasn't changed, it just so happens that certain people dropped out and others didn't make it. Then there is always Federer :)

The only way Nadal can have a tough draw would be for him to face himself for every match. Each match would be a previous version of himself.

Otherwise there is no one in the world that can do anything to Nadal on clay consistently. Not Federer at his best, etc. I takes a god mode of any player to beat Nadal best of 5 on clay, PERIOD!

That is just ludicrous.

Events that happen after the draw is made do not change how difficult the draw is. People being injured/not advancing is their own fault and these things just happen. It doesn't make Nadal's draw one whit tougher.

It's espescially hilarious that you think Delpo would have owned him today. That's completely unknowable, not to mention it has no evidence behind it.

Everyone who couldn't compete, lost in previous rounds, died or injured would have beaten Nadal on clay, is your obvious rhetoric since you joined the forum.

Man I was disappointed to hear of the Delpo withdrawl.

Not Nadal's fault but it still makes things all the more easier for him (as if he needs it anyways).

Nadal has entered that zone that Federer was in back around 05-07 where everyone he plays looks like a mug that the majority of matches are a joke.

Seeing as Federer was always my favorite player it never bothered me back then and upset me when people came on the boards complaining about it and talking trash about Federer.

Now that Nadal is doing the same thing, and he is not my favorite player, I can see how frustrating it is. I often try to start watching a match and quickly realize whoever Nadal is playing offers no challenge and change the channel.

I think this just solidifies that this is one of the worst clay court eras ever. The only real clay court players I see are Nadal, Djoker, and Fed. Everyone else is just a passerby. If anyone here honestly thinks Soderling, Ferrer, or Murray would hold their own in the past is just lying to themselves. Right now on clay there are NO hard draws. If Nadal doesn't make it to the finals every clay tournament it would show that he wouldn't hack it against a Borg or even a prime Agassi. I think the same goes for Djoker having the 2 seed. There are no hard draws however you want to make it because of the lack of clay depth. Hard courts are a different story.

Oh, dear. Where do these people come from? Not anymore? I think it's currently 36 matches unbeaten on the surface? He won the clay slam last year dropping...2 sets? Based on what is this "Not anymore"?
