Best looking audiences overall ?

Watching Madrid this week, I gotta say this audience is right up there! Beautiful women and good looking guys as well.

What is it with Madrid?

Are there a lot of 'stars' showing up at this event? I don't recognize any but some of the attendants have that look so to speak...

I also would say Miami and NYC are up there as well.

Anybody can look great with a ton of make up.I'm sure a good deal of women that come to these matches look like angels only because they apply layers and layers of make up.
And this seems to be a fetish in the west although I don't get why.Just too much money I guess :lol:
Go into those London trains and you have women applying make-up right from the time of getting into the train to the moment their stop comes.LOLworthy stuff.

Well Wimbledon is close enough to London, isn't it? But I definitely wouldn't put it at the top of my list!

Melbourne neither.

No idea never been. I was thinking more in the US. In general talent/intelligence/good looks gather in a few big cities.

NYC...well Manhattan B&T doesn't count. DC. SF. LA.

It is a wealthy city. Whenever you have a larger city you tend to see a greater distribution of wealth and hence usually more attractive people. In addition tennis is still usually construed as a sport for the wealthy, although that has changed a little more in recent years.

No, London for sure not. Madrid has better looking people overall than London IMO.

According to other europeans: the Brits in general don't quite have it in the looks department. Or are the mainland Europeans just being mean when they say that?

Mind you,and more relevantly for this board,I will concede that most British tennis players aren't particularly photogenic! (Not particularly good either..which is more annoying).

Italian Open has been the best in the past. Camera use to show the women in the stands more than the players. Felt like you were watching a Robert Palmer video.

Monte Carlo, Paris, Madrid...central European tennis tournament attendees are classy dressers and draw a monied crowd. Definitely nothing in the Americas or UK.
