Which rackets with thin beam?

My neighbor is currently looking for a new racket, one that preferrably has a thin beam (19mm or so) and isn't stiff (has feel) but no 90 sq in. frame size since he's starting to frame more often than not (he's 35 so he's looking for a larger headsize to help out with that) string pattern makes no difference.

Any rackets you might recommend he demo? I can think of:

Babolat Pure Storm Ltd.
Volkl Power Bridge 10 Mid
Prince EXO3 Tour

Any others I may be missing and what experiences you have with them?

Ok, I have no experience and I may sound like a fanboy but from the specs I think you might want to look at the Donnay rackets, maybe there's something you/your neighbor is looking for.

Dunlop 4D 200, my current stick. Thin beam, lower power, semi-hefty. Dampens vibrations so well that I don't need a vibration insert.

Played a K-Blade Tour before that, thing plays like a board compared to the Dunlop.

Played with a K-Factor Tour before those two, nice racket but too demanding for me at 37.

I haven't tried the new Dunlop Biomimtec's or whatever they are called, might be worth a try.

He's currently switching from his Dunlop 4D 100 so not sure if he wants to try another Dunlop, but I'll see if he gives it a try!

That's what I was driving at..
Though from the huge Donnay-Thread I/we got to know that the X-White could cause problems to the arm ?!
Not sure if it's really the racket or just incorrect technique or bad strings or something like that..

I love Head rackets but the grip shape has always been the thing keeping me from using them. Heads as in everything prior to Youtek, never played with any youteks. The radicals and prestiges are always top notch rackets in my book.

Hard to believe Donnay racquets would cause arm issues the frames seem so
comfortable to me. Even the lightest ones

Have him demo the new Head youtek IG Instinct S or MP. I'd also say the Prince EXO3 Tour Team based on the reviews. (i'll be demoing that next).

Most of the board hates on this racket but the Head YT speed pro has an extremely thin beam (18mm).

It's also stiff as a board, but i find that delivers better feel than a flexier number feeling stick.

And on sale like a mofo at $89.

the volkls have thin beam. the instinct is actually a really good stick. it if was more head light it would be perfect

He would probably like the 200's or the exo3 tour both great the psltd is very demanding perhaps the most of any stick so if you were to recommend that make sure he is VERY fit and can generate power

As I said... he was using the Dunlop 4D 100 already which is demanding as it is, he'll be fine :p

BB Legend.

I use the Becker Legend. 20mm Beam?

I used to suffer from tennis elbow from using Head LM 4.5(fr. Big5). Switched to a Prince Graphite Pro Comp 110 (flexy).

The BB Legend is not as flexy as my Pro Comp. But I like the plow through and is comfortable on the arm. I find it a bit light though. Coming from an oversize I am shanking some shots here and there, but the control is excellent!

Picked it up used from the forums. Best purchase I ever made.

I'm coming from a 4D100 as well and the BM200 fits my game perfectly. Nice weight, generous sweetspot, awesome flexiness and lots of control.

There's a boat load of good thin beam rackets.

1. volkl organix 10 (325 or 295)
2. Dunlop bio 200
3. dunlop bio 300 (a bit lite but you can customize to your specs)
4. volkl pb 10 mid+ (325 or 295)
5. BB london
6. BB melbourne
7. New Donnays - I demo-ed a couple and didn't care for them but others love them

I have demo-ed most of these but not all - some recommendation based on reviews by others. But, I went with a customized volkl organix 10 295 and it's great.
