Aero DrivePro GT Question?

I recently purchased a new Aero DrivePro GT and wanted to put my overgrip on it but I realized that the grip itself already had something that looked like a white overgrip. I believe this grip is called syntec but am not sure whether or not this is the pre-set/default overgrip. This led me to question whether or not the white grip is suppose to come off or not, so can someone clarify this for me?

The overgrip goes over the grip ;)

The white, squishy thing is the grip

Hmm I see, so the syntec grip isn't suppose to come off then? I only presumed it would come off since it resembled a white overgrip so much. :?

Nope, it stays :)

However, you can pull it off if you'd like to and then just use an overgrip. That will make the handle quite a bit smaller and more firm.

My bad, I meant what do you see under the grip? Is it just a black handle or something?

Generally, you see a tan or yellowish handle pallet (what you'll see on your Babolat) :)

Just peel off the white grip and look. You can re-wrap it.

In this video, the Head frame pallet is grey:

Here is a pic of a racquet without its grip:
