Well, for labor day, CBS want's the more "appealing" match on during the day. So since it's definitely more competitive, and features an American, makes sense they put Fish on during the day.

Wozniacki-Kuznetsova the night match over Serena-Ivanovic ?? That's a joke, right?

Djokovic on Armstrong and Mardy on Ashe.....now that's a slap in the face. i don't recall any top seed playing on an outside court except Fed in 2006, but that was only because the previous day was a complete washout

Thought Fish v. Tsonga might be the night match... but no, it's Monaco trying to be the 1st guy to beat Fed on Ashe at night:

The schedule is a JOKE!

A pathetic women's match on Ashe: Pavlyuchenkova and Schiavone! As we were told as soon as CBS cut to the match: "not of the highest quality" Well, duh! It's women's tennis!!!!

And to put Djokovic-Doggylollipop on Armstrong ?!?! No wonder the line to get into Armstrong was a mile long. I can understand Serena-Ivanovic during the day, for CBS TV. But the USTA is ruining the tournament by featuring women's matches on Ashe, at the expense of the men. Notice how there are hardly any fans inside Ashe.

No one cares about women's tennis! No one!

Imagine if they separated the men's and women's slams. The grounds would be a ghost town for the women's.

Get ready to see every single ball of Serena's match, while they have no problems cutting away from mens matches (even those including Fed/Nadal) for hours.

The USTA really needed to do the right thing, and move the dreadful Woz-Kuz match, to Court 17, or something like that.

Given the length of the day session, it's ludicrous to start the night matches an hour late, and on top of that, have a women's match on first.

Ridiculous that the USTA thinks the women are interesting or appealing to watch. If they had done the right thing, and moved them to Court 17, all 32 of the fans who really wanted to see the match would have no problem getting seats. And the fans who came to see Federer would be thrilled.

Should but you had a better chance of winning the Lottery in successive weeks than having it happen. I have a friend who is involved at the regional level with the USTA - says it is aligned with the Politically Correct segment of US politics, if you get my drift.

I find USO's schedule most absurd and kind of unprofessional if I may say so; they waste a lot of time specially when they don't start until 11 am in the morning. When will Fed play today , or will he even get to play ? It's a shame really.
