Thor and Green Lantern. I don't know why I keep getting these movies and thinking they'll be any good. But redbox is only a buck so no big deal.

Drive
Not what I expected. It has some car chases, but it is really more like Scorsese's After Hours crossed with The Departed. Definitely has an eerie mood to it.
An excellent movie.

"Melancholia"

It's Michael and Justine's wedding night, and a newly discovered planetoid may be about to collide with Earth. If you immediately perceive the symbolism here, you're ready to sit through the long and slow "Melancholia," a film that can only be experienced on a level of intense symbolic imagery and actions. Everyone left the theatre shaking their heads and looking confused.

With that title you were forewarned.

^^^ Colin Farrell gets my vote for most underappreciated actor. Great bewildered thug/lover in this film, macho technocrat in "Minority Report," country singer in "Crazy Heart," hilarious boss's son in "Horrible Bosses," performs well "on any surface."

Saw "Transformers 3" last night with my 13 year old nephew.
While he enjoyed the movie I got bored really quick.
While the Fx were incredible (on BD on a high-def TV), it lacked anything when it comes to storytelling and character developing.

Furthermore I missed Miss Fox in it, she was the highlight of parts 1 and 2.

Captain America, great, far better execution than Green Lantern or Thor but it's no Hamlet.

I liked Green Lantern. Brotherly love looked cool even though action was not perfect.

Oh man, When I saw Megan F. in the first Transformer, I couldn't believe my eyes. She was absolutely breathtaking. Now she is trying to be like Angelina Jolie? Why? I don't like A. Jolie at all. I try not to watch the movies she is in.

Funny, while I liked the vehicle and set design in Captain America, I didn't like the movie that much. Just seemed like not much happened - spent to much time on that U.S. Bonds tour, felt like the action only kicked in in the last 15 mins.

I like Thor better. It was a little goofy, but it seemed to not take itself too seriously.

Green Lantern is sitting at home. Haven't watched it yet.

Anyway, currently watching limitless. I'm about half-way through. Prob watch the rest later this week.

Have to agree with you about "Drive." Wife makes me see anything with Gosling, this film set his career back a bit.

Saw 'Immortals' yesterday.

Summary: steaming pile of rubbish.

You'd be better off watching something good in this sort of genre like the Game Of Thrones TV servies..
