Best Christmas present ever!

Happy Christmas everyone.

My wife has given me the best Christmas present ever:

Two tickets to the Australian Open (4th round and quarterfinals, Rod Laver Arena).

A return plane ticket to Melbourne (from New Zealand).

2 nights in a hotel in Melbourne city centre.

I can't believe it!!

Best present ever, or what?

Beats the carton of Beck's I bought myself. Although I will be drinking it while the watching the Boxing Day Test Match-my 2nd most important day of the year behind AO Men's Final day.BTW, I think maybe you still owe the Missus.

Yes, one for the 4th round and one for the quarterfinal, both day tickets on two consecutive days. I was thinking of getting the night sessions too since I'll be there.

Yeah I went in '06 and '09, so I guess I go every three years.

The difference now though is that we have kids. Since our little boy was born two years ago, my days of tennis tournament globe trotting are over. That's what makes this gift so special. I wondered when I'd ever get to a grand slam again.
