Crosses with Tour Bite?

Ive been playing with Tour Bite 17 in my mains(56), and addiction 16 in my crosses(58). Love the set-up, except that the addiction is getting quickly chewed up and breaking after only 8-10hrs. I do play with a fw grip and hit hard with alot of spin, so i accept that strings wont last forever. Anyone have a suggestion for the crosses(besides another poly) that will play similar but be more durable? Thanks in advance.

I use Sensation in my crosses with RPM or TB in mains. The crossses eventually shread because of the TB texture.

nvy more durable than addiction? I thought syn gut was less duable than multis, no?

In general, "synthetic gut" is more durable but have less feel, touch, playability, and comfort than a "multi".

Of course, there are particular cases where this doesn't hold.

I used to use Solinco Pro Stacked but now love the Tour Bite and Barb Wire combo.

I recently tried some Nvy as a cross for poly mains and I couldn't believe how soft and elastic Nvy feels while stringing. If you didn't know, you would swear it was a multi. Great price too!

You have to avoid textured poly strings when you hybrid with multi. The textured strings chew up multi easily. The setup is not durable at all.

Since we got our baby I don't string my racquets I still play with hybrids done in November 2011 LOL Typically, I get ~8 hours...

Does Nvy let the mains slide as well as a many poly crosses?

I use Prince Synthetic Gut with DuraFlex 17g and it lasts me about 15-20 hours depending if I am hitting regularly with the juniors in the academy of not. Another setup I use is Solinco Barb Wire 17 with PSG DF 17, which lasts me even longer. Both setups I string at 56lbs all the way through. Based solely off match play though I would say that the strings last me about 7-9 sets. With my Head Prestige Pro last me 6-7 sets, but with the Head Prestige MidPlus they last me 8-9 sets because of the tight string pattern. I have used addiction, NXT, NRG2, X1 Biphase, Sensation, and live wire as crosses and settled with PSG DF back in 2010 have not changed since.
