Is Yonex introducing new line to replace RDiS?

I just came to realize that almost everybody sold out the RDiS100 Mid. What is happening? Is a new line coming out soon or Yonex doesn't want to make racquets head size between 90-93 sq in any more?

There are rumors thatt a VCore 89 is coming out, Not 90, but 89, curious. i I recently bought a VCore 98 and it feels awesome, and I can use full poly with no problem.
For now, if you like as smaller head, the VCore 95 is your option,

The VCore series replaced the RDiS. Here's hoping the Mid users will get something in their corner.

Wait for the 89 then. The 95 replaced the RDIS Mid but added two inches and is more powerful. Love the feel and precison of the VCores. The quality is great.

I intend to buy a couiple of VCORE 98s besides the one I have. Ill wait a bit to buy, after the honeymoon period ends.:)

Yonex's quality is unparalleled!

Any comment on VCore compared to RDS 001 mid, which I am using?

THanks!

More power. More maneuvarable. When I say power, its one that lets you have that precision still. VCore is the new Yonex, more modern and updated.

VCore has been priced at around $189 while RDiS are $90-$100. Should we expect to see the 89 to be in the neighborhood of $190 as well?

RDIS is at that price because of a discount. The 89, being a new line, will be in 190 price range.

^^ sweet. If one can trump the 95D then it'll be my main stick. Idk though, the power of the 95D is addicting.

What would be the V Core model to replace the RDIS100 MP?
I thought it was the 98D, but looking at the specs the 98D it's lighter and less SW.
And the 95D looks like closer to the RDIS100 Mid.
Anybody can comment on this?
thank you

and btw, I asked Yonex the same question I have been told that the frame playing closest to RDIS100 MP is Ezone Xi 98 !?! Did I miss something or the Yonex guy didn't know what he was talking about?

Guy at my club says he's getting the new Vcore tours soon.
If he does, I'll be the 1st to try them. I'll update.

Why are they making unorthodox head sizes?

Doesn't make sense to make a VCORE 97 since it's only 1sq" away from the 98.

Why are they making unorthodox head sizes?

In short: Isometric (read square-ish) head shapes makes center mains and crosses relatively the same lengths which creates a larger sweetspot. Google for more.

Edit: you were referring to sizes? Sorry. However, there's nothing unorthodox about the head size 97". Pure Controls were originally listed as 97". And Dunlop 300 Tours are 97" Head Prestige Mids are actually 89.5"

Why so light on the Tour 97? Oh well if the flex is right (62-66 RA in my case), I will definitely give these a demo. If they can come close to the feel of the RDS 002 Tour and are at least as good as the Bab PSTGT, maybe I'll just stick a leather grip in there to bump the heft.

Mid looks interesting, except that it's a mid and I'm a noob.
