I hope you mean $ not mm.:)
Best thing I can say is that it is a cheap 1st gen poly.
I still have half a reel of Polyon Ice 17 and no one that I would recommend it to.
Pro's Pro Plus Power is a good, inexpensive, all-around poly.
I wonder how much Polyon Gosen sells to people who never order it again.

its low powered, and generates a nice amount of spin. doesnt feel the best to some, but ive been playing with it so much that i dont mind. its not the best choice out there, but its decent nevertheless.

I too, was thinking of purchasing a reel of that once I order a stringing machine...

Don't mean to highjack the thread, but would anyone recommend another low cost poly reel as an alternative?

anyone ever use it ? the 2.95 version ... thanks in adavance.

Hey Kirko,

Not a bad string if you string it lower-ish and hybrid it with a cheap, soft syn gut. Nice spin, control and provides decent power and comfort if you follow my advice above. The major downside is that it loses tension quite a bit and very fast. I have played it and it works great for what it is. It also provides a cheap hybrid for HS players on a budget. I always have some around..

Hard to get more low cost than a Gosen Polylon Ice 17G / Ashaway Liberty 16G. It is.. what it is.

Isospeed Polys...if they are back in stock. Opposite string to the Gosen Polylon

Thanks Steve ! I ordered a Bosworth Pro Kennex Graphite Destiny Bosworth collection and had them string it at 64 lbs. with it. prn. syn. not in stock so I gave it a whirl.

Polylon SP (Polyquest) is superior to the original Polylon IMHO. That string will always hold a special place in my heart. Only real bad thing about it is tension maintenance.
