^Nice find Meaghs!
I'm assuming the tape might be to flare that buttcap out, looks pretty thick.
Good call about the pallets, wonder if this is the new yonex leather grip?
I had my eyes on a particular 95D but snagged it for 91+change shipped so it waaasn't me . I also bought one today from my buddy's place. It's amazing the quality of these frames. I specced 3 of them on the RDC unstrung.
Weight (g): 320, 322, 320
BalanceL 31.25cm all three
Unstrung Stiffness: 69, 69, 68
SW: I don't remember this one exactly but I think it was about 320 each
Yeah he's been given the 97 tour selling job.....still the 95 tho eh.
It also looks like the wide tk57 pallets.....bugger wish i had them. (Maybe not the front one looks narrower)
Yonex leather too. Is that tape around the buttcap to protect or flare cap a touch??

Are those 95D's specs? I'm surprised they are so stiff as TW measured them at 63
Meaghan... you can actually see it in the image above running from each of the corners of the "isometric shapes" down.
Hello Guys!
Any of you that can recommend a very soft string and tension to use with the vcore 95? Played for an hour and the back of my elbow hurt for two days...very weird I thought they were very soft and arm friendly....yes I had folders elbow surgery 10 yrs ago, but never had pain before on the back of my elbow.
I don't want to get rid of them racquets!!! H E L P!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Arjen! Will consider gut next time. I usually play with Tecnifibre NRG2@54 pounds.
Thanks!
Been playing for over 25 yrs now on and off, 5.0 level and to be honest I think I have fairly good strokes and mechanics....I don't know what is going on Ike I said ts the first time I have pain in that particular part of the elbow and believe me when I say that I have tried too many racquets in the last 4 yrs....very strange.
Have the same experience as you junkie love the racket but it definitely does not like my arm or vice versa. Too bad since I play really really good with it...
I actually had pure drive plus next to it and I took it right after my arm started bothering me and believ it or not it actually felt comfortable next to 95d something is up I believe 95d tw flex numbers are way of...I feels closer to high 60 like 68 69 or so than 63

Hey Meaghan!
You didnt liked the Pb10 mid at all?
Ok, no problem
The three I put on the rdc brand new, unstrung, were @ 69. The strung demo @ 66 if I remember correctly
I would preferrably want the full silver lining....although on one of the pics of this bag it shows a red thermal lining I wondered whether that was what I was after???Although Yonex bags are really nice, they don't come with the climate control racquet pocket that other brands have. That was the only thing that kept me away from getting a Yonex bag.
hahaMeaghan you are on fire! Vc95 for life lol.
Ive been testing a number of poly hybrids with a little influence from the guys at guts and glory tennis (google~ Full Poly Hybrids…The Next Frontier)
What Ive found when stringing a thicker shaped main string and a softer smooth thinner cross at the same tension is superb playability and long lasting performance. To this date Ive only compared a few set ups with my main performer being Tour Bite 1.25/Lux TiMO 1.10.
Recently strung BHB7 1.25/Mosquito Bite 1.16 will some great results in the vc95d that may have knocked the TB set up off its pedestal. The set up really suited the racket
Worth a look if you are a full poly player....
Add me to the club. I demo'ed the 95d last week and it just clicked. What a great stick. I was thinking of waiting to see how the 97t turns out but there's something about the 95d that just works. Meaghan, I'm intrigued by your poly hybrid setup with bhb7 and mosquito bite. I was thinking of using a multi with bhb7 but will give your setup a try.

Meghan,
that is the one I bought, was on special locally for 45 plus tax, I got the six pack.
Look the shirt below, beautiful if you have Vcore racquets, 308 red, you better get this shirt as well.
I don't know the player but it looks like he is sponsored by Yonex, it's from AO 2011.

Does the climate control/moisture control/insulated compartment really do that much if you just take your bag from the house to the courts? I like the Yonex bags also, but have been hesitant for the same reason.
They are selling the 9 rckt bag for a similar amount in the uk, on offer.....how have you found the bag? Good quality, sturdy, waterproof?
The shoes are deffo worth a look. I love my head shoes but they are very very heavy. As for the shirt I'm not so sure, I kinda prefer blue.

I'm a poly user so climate control its less important but the silver lining is completely waterproof. It rained thro my volkl bag the other day and all my rackets needed new overgrips.
 get a bat mate....Sounds like you've found a great stick to match your game, awesome!
Been following this thread for awhile, how do I get into the club?
 get a bat mate....
Yes and no, it really depends on where you are and what you're using the bag for. If you strictly go house to court to car, no, it doesn't make too much of a difference but if you play in locales that are very humid (Florida) or on courts that aren't properly ventilated, the insulation is great to have. Rainy days are another reason you might want to use the insulated bag over a non-insulated one. Temperature of bags sitting in the car come in to play the hotter it becomes. Airplanes are another doozy-- so many temp changes Again, all depends on what you use it for.
You'll notice that the humidity issue will come into play with gut strings while the temperature issue will be more prevalent with poly.
