Scholars have successfully argued for years that this scenario is not only possible, but is increasingly likely in light of the ever improving level of competition on the professional tour. However, the current protracted economic downturn and the resulting volatile political climate have led others to believe that tournament organizers and sponsors would stop at nothing to ensure that the ticket purchasing public gets an opportunity to congratulate a winner, even if that means undermining the very fabric of the sport by shifting to a champion appointment model. If we are to take the opponents of the traditional view at their word, we have further proof that sporting traditions and public trust have little or no weight against the vested interests or the corrupt public officials who represent them in violation of their sworn duty.
Question for you, Mr. Sobad? Are you copying of my lecture notes from my Inspirational speech in Oct? Hard to breath while reading your school of thought. It's a catcy post!!!
