A home costs a lot of money. You must have liked the neighborhood then at some point in the past?

At that time (mid-90s) it was some kind of bohemian little neighborhood, inhabited by a mixture of young artists of all sorts and old people. Nowadays its (relatively) low prices have attracted a lot of immigrant population, mainly Latin and Chinese.

A small, one-bedroom apartment in an old building cost something like $40,000 then. I could have sold it at thrice the money a few years later.

Well, Novak will have to start serving well right out of the gates tomorrow or this won't even go to the 5th set.

Nadal should just concede and be done with it. By losing that 3rd set he gifted the match to Rolaids.

A big I told ya so to Towser and company as well.

Eh, Clarky, Nadal's still leading the match so it's way too early for your big "I told ya so" to the pessimist Towser.

This is good. I think Rafa was getting a little tired and the longer the match went, the better Djokovic started to move.
I just wish they would have stopped it at the beginning of the set. Now he's a break down. :(

This is pretty disgusting.

FO is in the Dark Ages compared to the other slams.

At least we don't have water bubbling up from beneath the court in this tournament, now that was shocking.

5 years away from lights and a roof though, I'm going to be almost 30 when that happens :-?

Yes, the momentum is definitely gone and it's a must win set for him. Nadal gets loads of time to think things through.

LOL, they aren't going to resume if its raining. And if it is dry enough for the ball to bounce to a usual degree, then Nadal has the edge once again.

Rafa wasn't getting tired, he was getting frustrated.

That's what happens when you work and succumb to the pathetic "rules" of society. I will never work.

Unfortunately, I am not a millionaire....yet.

We will now find out who has the better coach. No doubt we will see Nadal/Toni change strategies, and then we will see if Djok and his coach anticipated the change and have a counter-move in place.

John McEnroe saying that it's not raining as hard currently as it was while they were playing...Looks like the players had a say in whether or not they'd come out.

Well at least we now have the roof at Wimbledon but if the weather keeps up the way it has done the last week then heaven knows how the other players will cope

More luck for Nadal, cant ****ing beleive his luck

Luck?? The luck was all Djok's. If it hadn't started raining more heavily then this would be over. If it was a dry sunny day this was straight sets. As soon as it got really damp, Rafa's game is completely nullified. The luck is with Djokovic, not Nadal.

I think Nadal started to play too many angles. Play angles vs Djokovic and Djokovic finds the more acute angle due to his freak stretching ability. During the first 2 sets Nadal was hitting deep down the middle and forcing Djokovic to create angles that weren't there. In the 3rd set Nadal fell into the 2011 trap of giving Djokovic angles. Toni Nadal will reinforce the 2012 strategy.

I agree, that and the wet conditions slowing the court down and nullifying the top spin.

Given a fair wind and good weather tomorrow, Rafa should have enough. But he is making it difficult for himself.

Tomorrow is raining as well. Good. These conditions suit Djokovic.

A bit of rain is fine (as we saw first two sets). It's when the court becomes a mud pit and the balls get drenched that it seems to favour Djokovic. Not sure why.

In theory that shouldn't happen again now as they won't be out there 3 hours+.

The balls don't bounce as high?
