Kerber-Sharapova is intriguing. Both have beaten each other this year. Mistress of defense vs the ball-bashing banshee. Kerber has scalped a lot of top 10's this year. Sharapova wants to keep up with Azarenka in the race. I'm actually picking Kerber here.
Li-Radwanska is another offense vs defense clash. Unless Li gets off to a roaring start I think Radwanska has this.
Azarenka basically got a bye with facing Oprandi.
Admittedly I haven't seen Navarro play in over a year. Bartoli plays every match the same manner. I say Bartoli wins this, but I find her game quite painful to watch.
Kerber-Sharapova is almost a toss up. Kerber seems to prefer playing players who hit harder than her where she can counterpunch rather than be forced to be the agressor. Good chance of an upset for Kerber, Maria isnt playing that well lately but does a good job fighting and bluffing her way through often.
Li is crap in Asia as you in the other thread, ErrorNa shows up in a big way on that continent. Radwanska wins. Li wont be that motivated knowing she is already into the WTA final anyway, and finally achieved her goal of a Premier Mandatory title this summer. She is a player who can only motivate herself on select occasions.
Azarenka to romp to semis and the title favorite here at this point.
Bartoli probably wins over Navarro, but Bartoli is always vurnerable to a possible upset by any good opponent.
