Another two favorites.

Donnay X-Blue 94 and X-Dark Red 94 with hybrid string (Babolat VS Touch Black and Donnay Syncore)
20121021_083148.jpg

Damn those look nice! I was thinking of moving up to the X Dark-Red or the X-Blue from my X-Oranges (need that weight!), but man, Donnay makes the best looking frames, don't they.

My Wilson K-Fator Bold with 17 grams of weight.

see another post of mine for how I changed the balance point of my racquets for more snap and punch, using a combination of leftover chrome strips from an auto parts store and nickles!

I think you may have a serious illness...

 My wife must really love to stay with me....hahaha
No pro, just love(d) tennis.
Starting to get older now.
I don't play that much anymore

But when I play, I use this mainly:
verzameling%20(7).jpg

It's called "Emilda Marcos disease"...she had it with shoes..just sayin...btw, I help out kids in my neighborhood who can't afford racquest by getting them on ****, for cheap when I can. I live on an SSDI monthly check, so that's not as often as I would like. Got any oldies that you might donate to my cause? See my Facebook/guruhelp pages for the Tennis Explosion I have started in a small neighborhood in Las Vegas, if you like!
Nicely organized collection, too! Looks like it's a pro shop!

Do you happen to have the specs for the Dunlops? Are they all the pro mold?

All those 3 frames are based on Dunlop 300 Tour mold. Here is strung spec.

Berdych: 367g, 317mm, 59RA
Blake: 365g, 316mm, 63RA (but I think it's just a tad stiffer than Berdych's)
Haas: 357g, 307mm, 64RA

cool racquets, lavs:)
since you´re into vintage racquets and are from Austria, have you ever
played with some head or fischer frames from the past?
thanks :)
I played a lot with Head i.Prestige Mid (overall around 3 years) back in the days and tried out PC600 Classic (very special stick, absolute beauty but not for me :)).. Also I demoed Fischer Vacuum Pro (Kafelnikov), and after few hours I put this thing away - serving was a terrible action with Fischer.

you mean the vacuum 98 mid plus? never played with it.
currently using the prestige pro from 87, which i prefer over the prestige classic. the i prestige mid is the one version of the prestige mid i´ve never played with

I like it a lot. It is so precise and smooth. And feel is unmatched. The only concern I probably have is not that much plow as in my Dunlops Revs.. apart from that - the racket is absolute winner. And built brilliantly!

yes, Vacuum MP, first revision, which Kafelnikov had won his RG with. I really found it stiff and uncomfortable, especially on serve.
I highly encourage to try i.Prestige Mid. Nice frame.

i had a similar experience with the vacuum mid, Stichs frame, with which i couldn´t serve at all but slices and volleys were unbelievable.
astonishing how the prestige mids can differ. couldn´t really handle the prestige classic but love the older prestige pro

i.Prestige Mid was tad more comfortable to me. PC600 (as well as PT630/280) so sluggish I could not stand.

that sounds very much like the iprestige mid would appeal to me, good info, thanks.
i played with the iprestige mp for some years and liked that one

^^Bad day at the office with the Head in the back?

Nope, when I moved in it was in the closet. The strings were broken on it when I found it. Decided to go out back and relieve some of the moving stress. It was a 21" kiddie frame. I was waiting for someone to notice.

strung them with luxilon 4G / donnay co-poly combo... really nice feeling

oh man...i hate you! i really want a platinum! haha. i popped half set of micron in X with the poly M in the x white. love the soft feel. how is 4G for you? would like to hear your thoughts not the hype reviews

i like the string. honestly man to me poly is poly. you either have stiff poly or soft poly. aside from that i don't notice too much difference outside of tenison maint. and durability. tough to tell for sure since i did a combo set, but it does seem on the softer side. haven't noticed a big drop in tension yet either, which for luxilon is a nice change. overall it feels good, but i am not sure i would pay for it. lots of other good polys on the market i think you get more bang for the buck
