Hey man. I wanted CB 4.3's as well, but 3.3's had been horrible for me. I got one pair of 4.3's in my normal size 9, they were ok but still hurt. Just got another pair, got em in size 10 and they feel great. Go for it, totally solved the problem for me

The 4.3's gave me gnarly shin splints. They are really tight in the box and they don't break in very well at all. I wore them for two weeks and now they sit in my closet never to be used again.

If your size 11, try size 11.5. Ordering 1 size bigger than normal could cause many problems. If width is such a problem, don't look toward Nike for 6 month durability and great fits. If your looking for the $130 voucher from Nike, you gotta just deal with it and break in. :(

If anyone has a pair of used Courtballistec 4.3s in a mens size 10.5 (USA) that they don't want, I'll buy em from you.

I tried em after Vapors for the durability, but hated them. Tongue was way too small and felt like it was digging into the front of my heel (if that makes sense). Also, I tried to tighten up the laces (because everything but the heel was too loose, and the eyelet ripped out. So I turned em in, and used my rebate to get a new pair of Vapors.

The 4.3's aren't AS narrow as the 3.3. Try going to a local shop or someplace to just sort of check the out the fit of the shoe and walk around in them for a bit. That's my best advice for now. You will never know until you try.

I find the 4.3 a very comfy shoes, and they are certainly not narrow like the 3.3.

I agree.
Shoes size recommendation is very hard because everyone has different shape of foot so someone might need to go up half size or someone might not need to go up. Fortunately, I don't need any special requirement for my foot so I don't need to go up for 4.3.
I usually wear 7.5 size. Courtballistec 1.3 for 7, 2.3, 3.3 and 4.3 for 7.5.
Vapor 6 for 7.5, vapor 7 and 8 for size 7 and vapor 9 for 7.5 size.

I have a pair of 4.3 and 2 pairs of Vapor 9s. Vapors for me give my the perfect blend of support and traction on both clay and HC. The lightness with the Vapors feels great and there's enough traction for HC but enough give to allow me to slide on HC.

I now seldom use the 4.3, they are comfy and have brilliant grip and stability but I've grown to dislike the short tongue and so much prefer the dynamic lacing and fit on the Vapors.

If you want a shoe with stability and comfort, I would also recommend B7s.

I've had no problem with the 4.3 at all. From the first day I put it on it's felt great. Maybe a little soreness/tightness but wasn't all that noticeable. I'm a size 10 in most shoes and 9.5 in some shoes. Got the 4.3s in 10 and they are great. I have never experienced any problems with any shoes I've worn though...vapor 7-9, propulse 3, breathe 2k11-2k12, ballistec 4.3....maybe my feet aren't picky.

I am size 10 and I got a 10....played for 3 hours it was really really tight but comfortable....afterwards didn't have blisters or feel very uncomfortable...only a big relieve 5 min after I taking off the shoes....wore it a few times around the house and still felt the sides are too narrow..so went and got a 10.5 size and played 3 hours of tennis....no problems at all!

to prevent the lace thing from breaking apart....just make a knot and slip in and out of the shoes..don't tighten it everytime. coz if you untie adn tie a knot everytime....as you slip your feet in it will stretch the thing everytime you do it. So just slip in and out of the shoe and never untie the knot.

If you break it just drill a hole near the original place....it should still work good!

The eyelets on the 4.3 break very quickly. I had to switch shoes because of the poor design of the cloth eyelets.

The first three weeks with my 4.3s sucked...hurt the top of my foot from how tight they were, I thought it was because they hadn't broken in but after a week of 30ish hours of wearing them they still hurt...instead of being a dingaling and throwing away $90 I loosened the laces. The only tight lace is the topmost one. They feel wonderful now, great shoe.

how long do they last usually? like other than the lace problem and bottom sole?

I'm still on my first pair which were bought over 3 months ago now, they're just starting to wear down. I play on both Hard and Omni courts and the Omni do more damage than the Hard imo

I've never had problems of any kind with tennis shoes of any kind. I've worn nike breathes, ballistecs, lunar/vapor tours, propulse 3s, barricade 7s. I havent noticed any difference in fit really between any of these except that propulse 7 kinda gave me sore arches but wasn't a big deal.

I just picked up the clearanced white and grey one with the peach trim just to try them out. Because of some y'all's postings I went with a half size bigger (8 to 8.5). Thank goodness I did, they were still pretty tight. But after a couple hours of just wearing them around the house, I hardly noticed I had them on. I'm wary of the lace straps as some of the reviews have induicated the broke easy. I guess we'll see how they do. I plan on playing a match when the weather clears up but most likely I'm going to stick to my Barricade 7s. These do however make a great casual shoe!

they fit true to size

I've had fit problems with some of Nike's shoes in the past - Vapor 4s, anyone? But I don't have any problem with the 4.3s. I have high arched feet with a relatively wide forefoot and I hate narrow shoes. But I wear my normal size 12s in the 4.3s and they fit perfectly. And the inside of the upper is absolutely seamless. They do take time to break-in, but that has to do with the stiffness of the chassis. The shoe takes a while to mold to your foot and move with you.

Ive had 3 pairs and have worn through the lace straps. After one breaks - send them back for replacements. I love the fit and play of this shoe.

Does any one know what the next shoe in this line like? I wonder if they eliminate the lace straps.

My 4.3's lasted a good while (still in time for 6 month). Comfortable right out of the box. My feet are not wide.

Not sure how they would compare to Vapors.
I guess it comes down to...

When you send them back is the outer sole of the shoe worn through to get the warranty as well as the lace straps breaking or is it just the lace straps breaking? Are you sending them back to Nike or the place you purchased the shoes from? Thanks in advance

Just the lace straps. Tred on shoe is still good. Send back to TW - where I bought them. This is definately a shoe defect and should be covered under warranty.
