strange...it does not look like the 260.2
I wonder if Yonex decided to break the contract after seeing and hearing all he did last year which was embarrassing to Yonex to have a player sponsored at gold price to be worth it of nothing.
Don't be so sure it was Yonex that dropped him. Tomic might have not liked what he was using and decided to go in a different direction. Unlike clothing apparel the racquet (tool) plays an important factor in how you perform.
Up until about March this year he was
Even with a blacked out racket head or yonex he can beat the world no.1 in the hopman cup. They should have exchanged rackets?
Unfortunately, about 7 out of 10 teenagers and kids in their early 20's over here act like idiots. Regardless of how famous they are.
It is just our culture. He will be fine.
Damn, tennis is in far worse shape than I imagined.and he is still the highest ranked 20 year old in the world by a long, long way..
Ahm....no, it is not
Definietly NOT from the PT630 mold.
One easy way to tell, though there are a few clues visible:
In the photos you can clearly see that the pallets extend almost to the throat of the racquet (exactly like Rad MP, 260.2, etc) whereas a PT630 has a good inch of graphite between the top of the pallets and the throat.
^^^Not even sure what this means... Perhaps I was unclear with my statement, however I am 100% correct in my analysis. Racquet is from Rad MP mold, you can take it or leave it.
Tomic is definitely using the YT Radical MP 260.2
Haven't you seen pallets from factory? ... :-?
Radical MP mold, you could be right, but are you saying it just by these topic pics ?
Yes, by the bagful.
Since you seem intent on a pi**ing match, you should know that I used to earn my living as a racquet technician. I've had the honor to build racquets for players in the hall of fame, and I've probably forgotten more about racquets than you know.
Sorry, didn't notice that.
All fixed now.
I'm not really familiar with this stuff but is Tomic considered by Australians as one of them?
What I mean is... his parents are from Yugoslavia, he was born in Germany and was 3 years old when they migrated to Australia (?).
Everybody loves a champion and this kid can play but his attitude not to mention his fathers' attitude makes me wonder how is he regarded in Australia?
Australians put up with anything if, the player is winning!
Which sucks:shock:
^nothing at all, it is the player not the racquet.
It's the player if and when they're happy with their racquet, but if they're not they're not going to play well.
I wonder what role trying to play with a Yonex for a year played in Tomic's poor 2012?
I think it looks like wilson blade 16 x 19 with the oval head shape.

In this article, he says its a new Yonex racket but just did not have time to paint it.
That surely is not is not a Yonex!!
It's not. It's the HEAD YT Radical MP 16x19 TGT260.2
You can even see HEAD on the bumperguard.
