Holy crap that is my favorite Acura ever. ULTIMATE sleeper status... second only to the 2001 e39 BMW m5

I ignored it until the manual version came out, then I paid attention to it.

I don't know about being the ultimate sleeper, I have other candidates in mind.

In terms of the recent open pattern racquets, Prince had developed frames prior to Wilson (UK Skippy saw players using them at Wimbledon 2012). Wilson just released and promoted the Steam frames earlier.

Regarding the OP: the Type-J was an Asian release a few years ago. At that time, Prince had no plans to release them globally.

Hate to stray off-topic, but the TL Type-S was a sweet car. Normally I'm not that much of a manual transmission snob (compared to the modern alternatvies like PDK/DSG) but in that car only the automatic really dumbed it down and, more importantly, only the manual transmission version was equipped with a limited slip.

My nomination for GSleeperOAT would be first-generation Subaru Forester 2.5 XT.

1st gen Mazdaspeed 3 (I maybe biased because I own one ) gets my (personal) vote for ultimate sleeper.
