Phew. if Federer loses at least its with some pride. Murray handed it to Federer early on with 2 errors but Federer lost urgency and handed it back, uncharacteristicly lost court position after that lob he hit in the 7th point. what a shot to set up set point though.

Holy crap. Federer has won 53 of the last 54 matches at the AO that he's won the second set in, with the only exception being the 2009 final. Murray's goose is cooked.

No matter how good Murray plays, Roger has this something special that will always get into Murray's head. Same thing happened at Wimbly last year.

Murray should forget that set and get straight back into this, he's been dominant the whole match and im sure even tho federer won that 2nd set. He is well aware murray is playing the better tennis.

I just hope murray mental state stays focused.

yes, this is just as a prevention if the match goes bad. but the pain only comes when he is losing.

Nah, at his age, getting annihilated by Novak is not a big deal. On the other hand, all those final beatdowns from Nole a year ago seems to have taken a toll on someone who is on a long hiatus

Im sure they will both be fine, Murray and Federer both expect each other to be a tough match and they still have a day off to recover from this, novak didnt have a test in the semi and has had 3 days off to relax.

I would actually argue that its better for the winner of this semi to be pumped and ready for the final than go into it feeling too relaxed simply because djokovic wasnt tested by ferrer.
