no one replaces grommets for free they do have a cost, although the labor is very minimal

Not always... Sharp scissors work, pliers, or if you are desperate try using a starting clamp.

yea theres always a charge. in fact, replacing bumperguards can be very tough. just try to do a babolat pure storm ltd. the wilsons are not too bad. be patient, and it helps if you have the tools, such as awl, pliers, etc. usually to take it out you use the plastic handle to depress the grommets from the inside. then once you get afew you can ply the rest out pretty easy.

Sometimes, rarely, I have to use an awl to get under the grommet strip and pry them out. Using a blow dryer or heat gun is a good way to soften them up. Sometimes, an individual grommet will break and won't pull out. Then, you just trim it off on the top edge of the racket and pull it through from the inside.
Thats what I was thinking, but she told me she would give me some money.

Beat me to it! Worst racquet ever for replacing grommets! I have 3 that need replacement. I'm putting off doing the other two until spring because they're so awful to get out due to the 3948279 different pieces..

Patience is a requirement. Go from one side to another OR from the center to the sides. Do not force any grommet. Gently guide them thru the holes from the inside or outside (whichever seems to work) using an awl. Use masking tape to secure the grommet strip to the frame so they don't pop back out as you work on the 'reluctant' ones. You will normally hear/feel the grommet snap into place when seated correctly.

+1 for this...replaced a few grommets and this was the best method i've found that works quick and painless
