winner of the USC/UCLA doubles point has gone on to win the match every time except once since 2008. that being last year when the bruins upset usc 4-3.

You have to wonder if coaches are playing games in this tournament. Maybe not wanting to show their hand to much before outdoor season. Especially with the conference matchups. A&M sat Withrow out today which probably cost them the match vs Tennessee.

haha, well the reason that i can admit even if i can't wait for duke to beat you guys one of these days is that your progam is all class, nice comments from jenkins as well in that video
i think both programs like having eachother around - duke has a guaranteed couple matches a year as a measuring stick against the nation's best - uva needs someone in conference to push them, and few have been up to that task in recent years

not quite that far - i'd rather uva continue with their NCAA dry spell until forever, as much as i'm glad a program like that is in our conference

yep, this is why i assume peter smith is just an awesome relaxed guy to play for, 90% of these close dogfight matches his guys just seem to believe in themselves and start hitting the big shots in the clutch

what a match from usc and ucla. crazy to think that these two teams will play each other at least 3 more times this season guaranteed (home, away, pac12 tourney), maybe 4 if they meet again in ncaas. 5 times in one year would be bonkers considering how close these teams play each other.

Buckeyes take the doubles point - not the biggest shocker though. Biggest thing to see will be if Ille Van Engelen plays singles. He hasn't played singles in about 3 weeks and I have a feeling they've been holding him out for a match like this. If he plays and is healthy enough you'd have to favor him over Ryan Shane. Would change the complexity of the match.
