The thing about Dolgo is that he is a very fun player to watch. He's quick as lightning. Has a great first and second serve. His slices and drop shots are very good. Amazing passing shots, and angles etc. It's just that he sometimes doesn't use the right shot at the right time. His footwork isn't that great because I think he relies on his speed instead of getting into the proper position for the ball. Then in the improper position he tries to hit some fancy slice with backspin and side spin instead of hitting a topspin shot. This makes him hit to many unforced errors. He's got all the tools in the shed but at times doesn't know which tool to use. He oozes with talent but lacks control and direction on the court.

Dog is a mystery. I expected the wind to mess with Haas' mind. But he's handled it much better.

That would have been the shot of the year.

GSM Haas. With all of Dolgo's flashy shots, if he makes them they are still only worth 1 point each. Once Dolgo realizes this he'll become a much better tennis player.

Yeah, he definitely has the talent, but probably because he is such a 'shotmaker' he just doesn't have any discipline in constructing points.

This match it has been quite incredible how often he has just pushed a rally ball short, straight down the middle for no reason and completely passed the initiative to his opponent.

I can really see what you mean about his footwork too.

I'd like to think Haas would take Djokovic to three sets but knowing how good Djokovic has been in Miami over the past couple of years it's going to be hard.....really good to see Haas playing so well, top 20 player and very close to 35.

Djokovic will actually return Haas' serves (not beating up the net like Dog did). And won't waste BP chances. Probably a tight 1st set (7-5), then Haas' demons will appear, a racket will be sacrificed, and he'll get broken twice in the 2nd.

Haas is doing really well lately, glad he got revenge on Dolgo who is another dissapointing prospect.

Hope Haas gives Djokovic a good match, at least make it a high quality match. A bit like with Federer, i feel Tommy is playing with purpose now he has a little girl watching him.

Tipsy gets the early break on Anderson.

He's had a very poor start to 2013, but I think his season is starting to get going.

Gilbert put this one on upset alert

Upset for whom? Tipsy may have been the higher seed, but pre-match the odds were comfortably shorter on Anderson (which isn't surprising bearing in mind the form of the two players of late).

It looks like Anderson's match to lose; every single service game is such a battle for Tipsy to hold.

For the past few months, people who betted against players like Goffin, Verdasco, Tipsarevic, Chardy, Monaco has sure payed off.

Wow - thought the match was over once that went to a TB.

Anderson DFs and Tipsy wins 2nd set 7-6. Goes to a decider.

Nice workout for Djokovic. Needs to work in some S&V practice.

Anderson going away fast. Too bad. With Simon as the next potential opp, could have possibly gotten to the QFs.

Dolgo could learn a lot from how Haas is dissecting his game in such a controlled way.

Sasha's just unpredictable. If you remember, he actually beat Haasi in the Citi Open final (I think it was last year).

He knows how to play him, but that's one of the things about tennis -- the game you're going to have to play is always going to change depending on who you're playing.
