Nike Fall/Winter 2013

Well, since nobody seems interested in doing it... So I gave it a search on the internet.

Update 21/06/13: The US Open line is out, check the thread instead of this post.

What we know:
-Roger Federer's WTF outfit (shoes may change): http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showpost.php?p=7386701&postcount=643;
-Roger Federer's likely US Open polo. Polo has the pattern of his WTF outfit for the collar, minus the straight lines. They have the same kind of blue the shoes have, but the golden part of the collar of the WTF outfit is a little bit darker but not much. Swoosh and RF logo are sky blue. EDIT: Blue polo confirmed for USO.
-One of Roger Federer's USO outfit. Polo has the same pattern as the WTF and the other USO one. It's mostly grey on the chest and fades into black further down. Sleeves and back likely black. Collar grey then black on the extremity. Blue short. Red Vapor red laces, grey swoosh and vent. Outsole, midsole and parts around the vent are black.
-One RF polo, likely for pre-USO tournaments (may be wrong). Again the same neck pattern. Overall grey/white with black neck. Grey blue sleeves and back.
-Another pair of Vapor. White, parts around the vent black, grey swoosh. May be the second USO Vapor for Federer.
-New CourtBallistecs 4.3. Take the first USO red Vapor and reverse the colours. Overall black. Vent, tongue and outsole are red. The tongue may be fading in black, not sure.

What I'd like:
-Rafael Nadal not wearing fluo colours;
-Juan Martin del Potro in green to have Air Max Cages with similar colours. Not fluo too of course.

Did anyone get better scans of the US Open line? THe only ones I ever saw were the ones on facebook but they were so poorly shot that you can't get a nice look at everything. Also I believe someone here bought Roger's US Open polo (can't remeber what thread it's in).

That said, the new USO Vapor looks very similar to the previous ones. Only lighter blue.

Are you talking about the night or day shoe? I have the catalog and the shoes are red/gray and white/blue

Night USO 2012 edition. As for the 2013 Vapors, I don't know. Maybe it's the standard, non-Federer edition. Well if you unconfirm already stuff I wrote earlier, I may just correct the first post straight away... :lol: EDIT: Although it'd be logical. The shoes didn't bear the RF logotype and it would be too similar to his previous USO shoes.

Lukhas, I think you need to change the title to FALL 2013... there is already a summer thread. I think you're getting your Nike seasons confused

There shouldn't be anything about WTF and pre-WTF in here- that is all WINTER 2013. Nike Fall should be pre-USO and USO.

US Open Vapors and CBs use the same color scheme for Fall '13. Both have night and day colors. Obsidian and Red for night and Obsidian/Grey/University blue.

Well, I asked in the 2013 thread what were the colours at USO, and got ignored. As for the second remark, you said you didn't care in the 2014 thread, remember? Well, I do care personally, and since I don't know, I did another thread. No hard feelings, it isn't against you.

I will if I can. I just though USO was starting at the end of August, the "summer" part in the title would make sense. and since the season ends in November, I couldn't really write "winter" either. Report the OG post and politely ask for the mod to change the title to Nike Fall 2013. just a heads up, but there's probably a reason why people are ignoring you

I think you need to ask to close this thread; and make a new one, because people are getting confused.

I think it's funny that Nike won't allow pics of upcoming releases here, but on sneaker collecting forums there are tons of pics well in advance of a shoe release. In fact, there will be news of a shoe coming out with a colour code sometimes a year in advance.

The only difference I could think of, is that the pics and news in sneaker forums builds the hype, especially for limited release stuff. Whereas here, people may actually be discouraged from purchasing the current release when they know what the colour way will be for the next tournament/season. Kind of a funny "official" policy to allow advance pics in one place, but not the other.

Because you know, TW is actually selling stuff. The forum is there and nice, but secondary. Hence big brands can make such requests, because TW is selling their stuff. While on sneaker forums, who's there to stop you?

Right, I get that. But that suggests that Nike doesn't want sneaker sites posting pics of upcoming releases (just can't stop them). Based on the hype that ensues, and the desire it ends up creating I don't think that's the case.

They are different markets, and it doesn't really matter in the end. Actually, I don't fault them for it at all if that's what makes/increases sales. Just contemplating on the differences between the 2 situations.

The white shirt is less ugly than I though it'd be to be honest. :shock: It's really nice. I just prefer zippers to buttons, and can't put that much money in a shirt. Nice eye candy.

the polos he wore earlier this year featured zippers... Aus open grey/pink, indian wells red[orange]/ navy, etc.

Yeah, grey shirt, blue shorts, red shoes. Beyond awful. If he happens to wear this, this would be one of the worst Nike outfits since RG '09 Nadal. Good thing he hadn't to lift the trophy that time. Or this year, when you have awesome clay outfit, and then the RG outfit is incredibly weak.

I don't understand why they insist on using that shiny fabric. When players sweat it is very noticeable and makes the shirts look cheap.

I don't think he cares too much, but he looked very uncomfortable at AO 2011. This clay season Fed also looked surprisingly sweaty.

I found the "performance fall 2013 catalog" online yesterday.
Other Nadal's crew will be white with armory navy cross, and armory slate (kind of blue-ish grey) with light armory blue cross.

Seems the Nadal's bandana will be with dots patern (like the cross on his crew and Fed's polos)

I guess (according to the same cat) it will be the same for Fed :
7/1: light armory blue polo (pre-US open, I guess)
