Just started using the Asics R5 - love the Navy/Poison V9 but jeez they last about a week on the hard courts!!!!
Wife made me toss in the trash about 8 pairs of V9s and 5 paier Bigshots from
last year!!!
Ended up selling like 10 pair of adidas and kswiss on the bay a few weeks ago.
How do the GR5s compare to the V9s? V9s my go-to (love the navy/greens but yeah, they evaporate so quick) and I love the GR4s but sometimes it's almost too much cushion. Wonder of the GR5s are any firmer or still super plush.

On the web the orange looks "orange" while it's more a flashy pinkish orange (well... it's... crimson!, not orange)
beside this, the grey looked blueish when I took the photo (trick of the light, camera flash). I modified the hue a bit so it's more like the actual color.
What you see here should be closer to the reality.

Thanks, I have had them in storage for quite awhile. I believe they were a replacement pair I picked up down at TW. I used to bring my old shoes back to TW and get the replacement right there and also buy a new pair of shoes at the same time.

Do you buy multiple pairs of the same shoes or something so you can actually play in those?
There's nothing wrong with collecting, but they appear to be in near mint condition.

I do wear they quite often, but i usually wear Air Max before im on the court, and change back to my air max after. Maybe that's why they look new.

I bought the new Asics RG5 and the orange/black is hideous in real life(what were they thinking?). I do like colors in my shoes but I had to send these back on the spot. I also got the Yonex Power Cushion 308 which I think I will go with. I'm also considering getting a pair of Yonex PS 308 clay version since most my play is on that surface. Has anyone worn both pairs of the Yonex and what benefit if any is seen when wearing clay model while playing on that surface?
