Any word on these supposed Limited Edition vapors for wimbledon?

I don't think they are Vapors, but Babolat since they signed a new partnership for shoes. It concerns the SFX and the Drive 3. Or maybe you are talking about something else? Then I don't know, since IIRC, all Nike's Wimby shoes show the same pattern: white, green and silver. I thought there would be one with orange swoosh for Federer to accommodate his outfit, but it seems it won't be the case.Any word on these supposed Limited Edition vapors for wimbledon?

^You mean this? I had seen some Vapors with orange swoosh on promo pictures for sure too. But we don't know as of now.
EDIT: Found it.

I contacted someone from Nike and they gave me a link to the page that the grass LEs would be for sale on as well as the time and date that they'll be going on sale, so yes, I can confirm that there IS a limited edition pair of Vapor 9s coming for Wimbledon.

Man I botched the spelling in that last post. Ha. That's what I get for late night typing on my phone. How limited are we talking? 287 limited? Surely not. Ate they going to be grass outsoles? Will this link be common knowledge soon via an announce my from nike?

Um are you sure they gave you a link? I've never heard that before.
Why so secretive lol... Link? Was it from the NDC twitter?I got the link directly from Nike via a confirmed twitter account. I'm preeeetty sure its right. I guess we will find out next week though.
As far as specs, I am completely in the dark. Outside of the reported colors and price, I don't know what kind of soles they are, or how many they are releasing or anything else.
If the swoosh is grey, it's indeed one of his USO shoes given what you write.I saw a pair yesterday I had never seen before. I think they are the US Open ones, they are white with either Black or Navy on the adaptive support system. They look like the white/blue SL version he wore at Madrid last year, but where the blue was it is now black/navy (had a hard time telling which one it was). I didn't have my phone with me so no picture, but I'll swing by and get a shot of them today.

I just got my wimby V9s and it feels half size bigger. Has anyone noticed this? I have 6 pairs and ive noticed this difference right out if the box..
Nike shoes are made under a tender process so different colourways throughout the season are often made in different locations.I just got my wimby V9s and it feels half size bigger. Has anyone noticed this? I have 6 pairs and ive noticed this difference right out if the box..

I just bought two pairs of the French Open colourway from TW last week and they're definitely smaller than the other three retail pairs I own from last season. They're still wearable but even holding them next to each other you can see the soles aren't quite the same length/width etc.
So, to answer your question: you're probably right.

Where are you seeing these and buying these? What stores? I'm lucky to see a blurry picture. Haha

Rafa's short on Nike.com is "armory navy / light armory blue".
Colors are similar to the CB's, so I guess that's it.

About the Vapors, I guess it's "armory navy" too but the swoosh seems different. Could be "dusty grey" as this color is part of the fall line.

Thanks for the pics anyway

Aha. In theory they should be the same - the patterns are the same and the instructions are the same. Welcome to the world of textile manufacturing. Not very helpful in an era of internet shopping where the accent should be on the consistency of the product so returns are a non issue.
These are the USO Vapors indeed. Here are the Vapor 9 colors I saw in the store today. I can't tell if its a navy color, black, or dark grey. It probably is navy, but could very easily pass for black/dark grey.
Yep, could beThe box also says "Stadium Grey"...I'm guessing that's the swoosh color.

Wanna share the link? ;-)
Tomorrow morning, Limited Edition Vapors go on sale. I'll post the link I got.

My local shop also had the US Open V9. I would post the pictures, but I know they will get nuked. They are cool, they look like an oreo V6, though the fitframe is a bit too shiny for me.
They were at our club's pro shop yesterday (Indianapolis). The 4.3 looked awesome.
So are the limiteds a no-go?
