I feel the shoe box takes too much room. Luckily my bag came w/ a detachable drawstring bag to put shoes in.

Misc pocket- spare leather grips, spare over grips, spare laces, sciccors, super glue, icy hot, sun block, rubber band to stretch, dampeners, usta rules, stringing business cards:p and lastly, can't tell you how many times its come in handy, i always keep like ten bucks in my bag. Never know if you need balls or Gatorade or whatever and Forgot my wallet. Helps for me anyway haha

I love having a 12 pack bag. Any smaller and I feel like I can't bring half of what I need to the courts. Granted half of that is luxury or emergency stuff, just got used to having everything I need in college when you can be gone for a while at matches. Plus the 9 and below just look funny to me now haha

I'm curious, what size bags are people carrying these items in?

I carry my stuff in this bag:
x1xgra.jpg

It is a super six I think (same thing as a 9?). So I have my racquets in the two outside compartments with the thermolining, and I have my shoebox and tennis balls in the middle compartment. My miscellaneous stuff goes in the other small pockets.

^ that's a rather large looking six pack. Nice bag. Why do you carry shoe boxes?

Lol I don't really have a good reason for carrying my shoes in their shoebox, but I've been doing it since day one. The box fits perfectly in the bag, though, so it works out perfectly for me. I know I'm probably one of the only people who does this.

12 pack bag or me. It is actually quite a tight fit to get everything in.

Agreed. Everytime I got a larger bag I found more stuff I wanted to put in there ha. I like when people get snotty about having a bag that big. I don't understand why my bag should bother ou lol

I got the limited edition Federer 15 pack a couple of months ago (hooray thermoguard x2) Here's what I've got inside right now:
3 Pro Staff 90s, 2 matched (soon to add 2 more matched ones)
1 leaded up Juice Pro (this thing is a rock, and a good loaner for friends)
6 packs of 4g 1.25
1 gatorade
1 pair of Vapor 9 tours
1 extra t-shirt
1 extra pair of socks
1 RCTB 1899 towel
1 iPhone charger

Usually there's more random stuff in there(slurpee coupons etc.) but I just cleaned it out a few days ago.

To those who carry extra strings, is there a particular reason you do?

I imagine you're carrying multiple racquets, hence you have a backup in case your strings pop.

If it's because the brand you use isn't readily available, then that's understandable. But if that's the case, do you let the pro onsite restring? Or do you bring it to your regular stringer?

Bringing me back to my original question, is there a particular reason you carry extra strings?

For me buying a few packs (never bought a reel) just assures me I have some just in case I need a racquet restrung. And I'm pretty sure the stringer at my center does not have my string (haven't checked in a while). And I buy them in value packs. (I.e. buy 4 for the price of 3).

When I break my strings I give it to my stringer at the club... Where else shall I keep'em

I carry only things i need for game situations. If my strings break, i pull out another racquet. I'm not using the club stringer to restring my racquet (I use only one stringer) so I find it moot to carry extra strings around.

The club stringer could be his main stringer. My main stringer is the stringer that works at my tennis center.
