USTA renewal. Are there any promo codes active now?

I saw the below in a post from December (of course, saw this after I renewed)...not sure if still valid:

I just renewed my membership for 1 year with an offer that got me a 2013 US Open hat and an undated US Open Cinch Bag. 2 items! It was source code 818. I thought it was a great deal. It's good until the end of the year. I wasn't due to renew until February but I decided to go ahead and do it now. It added onto my membership.

New USTA Membership promo codes for 2013...

-5 year renewal with free US Open backpack = UPBACK13

- FREE junior 1 year membership = FYF13CNS

==

Foundi these on a FB page "tennisbargains" ... there are other codes listed, with more to come out soon, but looks like USTA is holding back the 1 year adult new memberships for some reason.

Not sure why??

May we should just wait to join later, because it was $30 just 2 months ago...now it's $44 (with no free hat, t-shirt, etc)

Might need to wait until summer time? The last one I found on youtube worked but then expired 3/31...

US Open is usually when a lot of their promos come out.

USTA has just hiked their membership fee almost 50%! (from $30 to $44). This is too high, especially in an obama economy. Need valid promo code to rejoin. Thanks.

well I have not been getting my monies worth for years, guess they need to keep PMac happy and the USTA President because they are certainly not helping the League/Tournament players with sky high entry fees, due to USTA wanting their cut even after Sanction Fees.

No joke here. It's ridiculous how little the USTA actually provides their members. Sure we get the magazine but the articles seem awfully biased as well as the reviews.
Tournament fees are through the roof while the facilities for the events are terrible.
Definitely not getting what I paid for. I'm still on the fence about renewing.

You should see USBA (badminton). It's $50 and I didn't even get a card! No online tennilink like site either.

I just renewed my membership & said the same thing. "Why am I renewing this?" I don't play many USTA tournaments b/c #1 the prices are too high, #2 the competition is just as good if not better in non-USTA tournaments in my area, #3 non-tournament competition @ the local courts is just as good if not better than most tournaments, #4 I stopped going to the Open b/c prices just got too exorbitant & too much of a hassle getting there, #5 where aside from US Open prize money is my payment going? Don't give me 10 & Under Quick (false)start b/c I'm in Wayne Bryan's corner---it's a joke.

just renewed for 44. none of the discount codes worked.

it seems codes only have worked for me in the past when my membership had expired for a week or 2.

6742 did not alter the price, however, I tried '6732' and it knocked 14 bucks off my fee plus they said there was a xl tee coming. This was as a new member.

League tennis here I come.

So what happens if I enter the code and it allows me to use it for my renewal as opposed to it supposed to be used for a new user? Will I get an email from USTA asking for the additional $14?

The T shirt and discount is a one shot deal. I tried it after my membership lapsed and it didn't work.

It's a promo code, if it works it makes your total less. I doubt they'd ask for more money after if they give you your membership. I wouldn't wanna pay it anyway. Good luck.

Also, just looked at my confirmation email, it says thank you for renewing or starting a membership. So it shouldn't matter, I can't imagine they'd ask you fr more money.

Years ago, after I had not renewed, and remained inactive for a year, the USTA would send mail offering to re-join for half price...

Are those type of USTA promotions for ex-members over?

You get the pleasure of paying the USTA for playing in their leagues and then paying more the for pleasure when you play matches. In my section, not only do you have to pay the USTA membership but all matches are played indoors even in the summer and you get to pay $15.00 EACH MATCH FOR COURT FEES. Dropped my membership a few years back. If you are a good player and not an Ahole you can play a ton of tennis without the USTA. The USTA collects tons of money and gives very little back. Volunteers run most of their events.. not sure where the money goes.. but I have given my last dollar to them..

Played my first two seasons of USTA. Fun but certainly not worth the money for me, maybe when I'm more well off in the future.

SteveI, you have it good. My court fees for USTA year round were $30! Paying $30 to play indoors on a perfectly beautifully day was pretty stupid. I can justify it in the winter, but when it's nice out, pretty lame.

Its awful being in Atlanta with all of these free public parks to play...it is around $200 to reserve them for a season.

I am not paying court fees in the summer to play inside so the USTA can get their cut from the clubs. I would pay to play outside on either green or red clay however. I am not playing indoors at 9 PM in a club with no A/C and crappy lighting in the middle of June, July and August. The best part is that we only play the regular season indoors.. all playoffs Section Wide are outdoors. LOL... So we do not prepare ourselves for the outdoor conditions that the other sections are playing under. It is insane and a big money grab for our local section. Go USTA!!!

2015 USTA Promo / Source Codes

Does anyone have any promo codes for 2015? I am looking for discounted rates for adults in particular. The current deals are:

$44 for 1 year membership (no discount)
$119 for 3 year membership (10% discount)
$176 for 5 year membership ($44 dollars off)

Right now I'm just interested in codes for the 1 year discount. Please help!
