Probably the best looking shoe imo, really flashes on court.

Gel Resoultion 5, although I wish I had tried version 4, since they are presumably lower to the ground and with better lateral stability!

Liked the CBs 2.3 and the AMC. Currently trying the Lotto Ultra Raptor 4 and they may trump them both depending on how long the heel outsole lasts (it's really thin!). That shoe is built in a way that you feel very, very invited to stand more on your toes than "flat-footed", so maybe I won't dig an hole on the outer heel as fast as I use to. Fits my flat and long feet really well given it's longer than most shoes without being much wider, while shoes like the Adidas B8 or Bab's Propule 4 fit shorter and wider.

Court Ballistec 2.3 and Barricade 7 are my favorites. Not my favorites but still an honorable mention to Asics GR5 (upper not tough enough) and adi B8 (not as comfy as B7). None of the shoes I wore back in the day offer particularly fond memories.

Wilson Bata

These were the lightest tennis every and they had a super lite weight heavy duty molded sole that went up above the sides of the shoe. For some reason; Wilson just discontinued the shoe. It was always out of stock at the tennis and sporting goods stores. Till this day; I cannot find out why they did this.

It was the best tennis shoes in the world!

Anyone know why Wilson discontinued the Bata tennis shoe?

Original Wilson Pro Staff leather. They used to make a mid /higher around the ankle version that was great. Also the Reebok Insta Pump was a super comfortable supportive shoe.

Those CB 2.3s are so expensive now on ****. Great shoe for sure. Still a demand for them. I have a pair of the black gray and orange 2.3s for the future. Those lime glow in the darkers Rafa wore were a sensation.

Wish Nike sold the actual Vapors that Fed wore. But Nike modified those old Vapors for Fed and they were much different than the ones sold to the public.

Surprised to see no mention of the Breathe Free IIs. Absolutely loved those shoes.

Best shoes ever! Durability was absolute **** but man could you move in them. No break in time either. GSAT haha.

I have a pair of the old Nike breathe 2k10 I think their called? Not too hard to find an they feel nearly exactly the same as I remember the free II's, quick and not durable haha. After I ran the tread down, instead of runnin them to death, I just use them as clay shoes now. They slide incredibly.

Copped a pair on fleabay for 45 shipped. The only time I ever sat and bid the last second to make sure I got something. Ended up beating a guy for them, I was pretty proud. Brand new too! They were labeled as "Nike tennis shoe" instead of air court.... Always check generic terms on there because no one sees them and half the people who do don't know what they're looking at ;)

Wow that's a steal. They sell for like $300 minimum on fleabay. Good job.

Yonex 304s. Lightweight, fast, and comfortable because they fit my feet. Ideally, they'd be made with a little more outsole durability and with the heel stack dropped down a bit. Then they'd be perfect.

I'm currently wearing my all-time favorite - Yonex 308s. By far, the best shoe I have ever worn. I have the CL version for clay and the regular version for all other surfaces.

I had a shoe made by Nike that Sampras wore that was a low profile, outstanding shoe. It was around for years and I had many pairs. I just can't remember the name but I don't think that I will ever play with a better pair than those that Sampras wore...
