If he can't beat Djoker in his BEST YEAR EVER

You do realize that you would be saying that Nadal is better than Fed, since he beat Fed plenty of times in some of his best years: confused:.

I thought you were a Fed Fan.

Nadal is 5 years younger than Fed.

Nadal and Djoker are the same age. Nadal peak performance according to his results is NOW, still could not win a World Final against his main rival.

To me that's very telling. I am pretty sure Novak will have a better h2h against Nadal by the end of 2015

nadal does not need a damn thing next year except for 2 slams.

and that is going to happen. go buy your crying towels early.

Who won two majors this year--and who did he destroy to get said majors?

Djokovic is not in Nadal's league at all.

Omg ROFLMAO, you really don't know anything about tennis do you? Why are you here?

I think people should have at least some basic knowledge about tennis to enter this forum.

...said the troll who promised to leave the board (and eat his ***** ) if Nadal ever won another non-clay major.

How did that work out for you? So much for your tennis knowledge in doubting a legend of his level--a level not shared by Djokovic.

I think people should have at least some basic knowledge about tennis to enter this forum.

Then you have no place here, considering that assbrained prediction that exploded in your face. No rational mind would ever doubt Nadal's abilities.

No. He never has great years back to back. He will only win RG in 2014. Djokovic will win AO and USO and either Murray/Federer/Del Potro will win Wimbledon.

Nadal will decline soon, I was just one year too early with my predictions. You won't see it though since you clearly don't watch tennis and you're just here to troll.

Either that or there will be some breaking news on Nadal and not a good one.

Djokovic is not in Nadal's league at all.

He destroyed clay court god Ferrer and beat Djokovic in 4 sets at the US Open. It's also worth highlighting that I'm being very sarcastic about Ferrer. It's also worth highlighting that Nadal didn't destroy Djokovic at FO. It's also worth highlighting that whilst Djokovic isn't in Nadal's league in terms of achievements, he is certainly capable of playing better than Nadal on hard courts. It's also worth mentioning that Djokovic is very capable of rinsing the tour next year considering he is pretty much a lock for the AO and is getting closer to winning the FO every year.

Since Djokovic stepped up in 2011, Nadal has beaten Djokovic 5 times. Once on hard and four times on clay. Meanwhile, Djokovic has beaten Nadal 10 times on every surface. the US open was the first time Nadal beat Djokovic on hard since like 2010. I don't predict many wins for Nadal over Djokovic on hard court.

But Bertie B who is great at predicting said Djokovic can't win a slam outside the AO until September 2014. Read his posts. He is good.

This means he won't win RG or Wimbledon in 2014. He will have to wait until September 2014(USO). Bertie B predicted Nadal would win the USO this year way back in February!

Exactly, but it's no use to say this to a troll who doesn't watch tennis.

Only a hate-filled troll would butcher this board as often as you, making predictons forever proving your lack of knowledge of anything not related to Federer.

Typical of the troll, you could not live up to your promise to leave the board, as you are on a sad campaign to trash Nadal--a player Djokovic cannot begin to match.

I don't think even Nadal himself predicted that he would win the USO. So the fact that I predicted he would not win it, doesn't say I lack knowledge. Your statements on this board however, clearly shows that you do lack knowledge.

December 2012, actually.

As a Nadal fan and astrologist I have a wider perspective - Nadal is in a down cycle; see Borg, Graf, Clijsters mid-career drama if aren't familiar with that.

I'm happy he took the time off, he needed it. I also like the way her clobbered the djoker again, and again, and again before disappearing. That way no one can say he ran away from the competition.

IF Nadal return to his normal training schedule I expect him to do was he does during the clay season, then make his comeback statement in New York. By my calculations his down cycle ends September 2013

He lost 3 times as well. Sorry try again.

And the toughest match? he lost 3 and 4.

Same story will be replayed in AO as well, just watch.:)

Buzzer wrong!

Outside of #1 duties and sponsorship obligations, Rafeal Nadal has little concern for the Year End Exhibition.

Great ones win when it counts, at the slams! Your turn.

exactly. well said.

he took care of 2013 and he will take care of 2014 as well.

who the hell is going to stop him at RG? this time he wont be coming back from a 7 month layoff.

and he is taking the Australian open. that is 2 slams for those who are not able to count.

and that is all he needs for 2014.

Not the AO. That belongs to Djokovic. Low-bouncing surfaces will be advantage Djokovic as we saw at the WTF.

I hope Nadal fans enjoyed this year, because it will be the last good year and after he'll lose his #1 position he won't be back on that spot.

As expected he was totally outplayed today by Joker. It's a joke that Nadal is #1 right now while Joker is so obviously the better player.

Agree completely with this part of the post (removed sweating part since I couldn't care less about that).

Novak totally dominated Nadal in all of three wins he had over him this year(MC, Beijing, WTF), while Nadal's wins were all quite tight and lucky and influenced by other factors i.e. Nadal was not really better player in neither of them. (FO - Pascal Maria, Montreal - unsportsmanlike hit in the head that distracted Djokovic, USO - Djokovic turned into UE machine after dominating second and third sets).

So to repeat myself, Nadal was extremely lucky this year and if there was any justice Djokovic should have won both FO and UE since he was actually better player on both tournaments. Nadal was helped by external "forces" - i.e luck, cakewalk draws, favorable schedules, Pascal Maria, ...
That couldn't last too long and as we can see, Novak recuperated in the last part of the year, restored the proper order and is dominating Nadal and the rest of the field again.

Nadal had his lucky swan song this year, so the 2014 will look similar to 2011 with Novak winning 2-3 slams and, once regained, easily keeping his hold on #1 spot.

well he had him on the ropes 2 years ago and let him escape.

and he was not able to play there last year.

I think there will be sufficient pent up demand, hunger, and frustration this time.

this loss today might be just what he needed.

I am picking nadal for the Australian open title.

Nah. The low bouncing surface at the AO is tailor made for Djokovic. If it was the old rebound ace which was high bouncing then Nadal might have a chance as the current USO is similar in speed to the old AO played on rebound ace. USO was slowed down recently but it is high bouncing. Low bounce hc and grass are Nadal's worst surfaces.

Uncle Toni must've had laryngitis.

He couldn't even beat Darcis in R1 at Wimbledon in his BEST YEAR

LMFAO

he's a joke.

Great comments in this thread indeed.

Nadal had to win this for him, he wantes this title. This is not the best year for him because of this fact.

For me, the best year for nadal is beating the other great ones in every situation. All his fan boys remind us every time that he wins everyone in every surface. Now we have to read that he didnt wanted this title, that its only one game for him that had beaten other players in other situations. Come on, use the same criteria before and after his matches please, its not fare use contraditory arguments in different situations.

Then how can he be better than him? Novak proved he is the true number one and that he will reclaim it in 2014.

Honestly, he looked scared the whole match. He was sweating and running left to right while Novak controlled him easily.

Novak is more complete player than Nadal and this will be confirmed when he wins RG next year.

I agree. Nadal needed perfect weather plus fluky net touch in the 5th set to win. Next time if weather is cloudy or even a bit dump its game over for Nadal.

Nadal is quite formidable in the best of 5 format. He leads Djoko 8-3 in slams and 2-0 just this year.

you can make that 10-3 right now.

no way he is losing to nole at the next 2 slams.

in fact today's loss pretty much assures that nadal will be prepared next time.

Yeah, so? I admit Djokovic shouts those vulgarities and he shouldn't do that, which is bad sportsman ship imo. But then again, I am a man enough to admit it unlike someone who has Hitler type of thinking and conversing

Next?
Djokovic says all kinds of vulgar things. And Nadal, he picks his shorts. Big deal.

There are many Fed's records that Djokovic will never touch (i.e. 17 slams, ...), however I am not sure this is one of them.

This being said, I would be quite happy with 2 slams next year.

Ofc he did and I'm not saying that Rafa will beat Nole at AO. I'm just saying how you can possibly say Rafa can't beat Nole in his best year when he clearly has done. Rafa's 3 wins came at 1 masters and 2 slams whereas Nole beat him in 1 masters, 1 wtf and 1 500. Pretty clear who's had the most significant victories. And to suggest that this was the toughest match is just foolish considering their FO epic.
Any we have found the other reasonable Fed fan on here. Cheers to you dude, thanks for being objective and respectful :)

this is amusing stuff:

fed fans literally dying day and night to see if nole can slow down nadal.

talks about false worship. they don't have the guts to just appreciate all that Federer achieved.

I feel sorry for them, it's really a tragedy. Their passionate devotion to hate Nadal has degraded Federer to a insignificant bump on the road to greatness.

Well, just imagine how ugly tennis would be if Djoker was not around.

Noone except Nadal fans would like to watch spin to backhand all they long.

Nadal may not win another major next year.

Only desperate rafa haters can make all these ignorant threads about the year end holiday consolation tournament. Where was joker at the majors were it counts? Oh thats right rafa beat him in 2 of them? What silly threads did you make after the FO+US open?

Did you make these goofball threads saying tha joker was the real number one then? Oh I guess that would have been tough for even your warped thinking. I am sure that you probably predicted joker was going to win the FO this year also, but of coarse he didn't.

You need to let the ATP know that joker is the true number one because you say so.
