PT has way more power then Prestige, while being more plush at the same time.
I concur with your insightful findings!

Edit:
Are there changes made to the midplus 2014 compared to the midplus 2013?
Or is it just the paintjob and the red grommets?
From what i have heard, its only a new paintjob
Its not just a new paint job.
"Visible" graphene molecules would be just the paint job, no? How would one see a molecule?vs is correct it is not just a paint job there is visible graphene molecules (hexes) on the throat...
the new 2014 prestige MP is in my hand , review coming soon
correct but not paint job, there is "sheet" molded inside the graphite that is raised, with graphene shaped "molecules" what ever it is does make the frame feel soft and more muted, Head is trying to bring back the long gone feel of Twaron by using graphene to mimic similar feel, graphene is expensive"Visible" graphene molecules would be just the paint job, no? How would one see a molecule?
Waiting here....
Are you going compare back to back PT630 with new Graphene Prestige with same string on both rackets?
Has VsBabolat tested it too?
I guess I'm one of you guys now!
Picked up two china made PT280s in 9/10 condition for about $20 the other day.
Pretty good steal right!
Anyways, what can you experts tell me about this racquet? And what is the difference between these Chinese ones and the austrian ones?
And also, the difference between the PT280 and the PT57E or PT57A?
THANKS EVERYONE.
What current racket plays the most like the Pro Tour 280/630 ?
PT280/630=PT57A
i.Prestige MP=PT57E
So there is no difference between the PT57A and the PT280? They are the same racquet?
they are supposd to be the same apart from weight, for easier customisation
Which one is the lighter of the two? and by how much?

Ouch, don't tell me you are in Vancouver? You "stole" those right under my nose...I guess I'm one of you guys now!

It does not compare. The 25th anniversary is just the IG Prestige MP with black paint.
Other question. I remember that head made a "lite tour 630" (green paintjob).
Was it from the same mold as the pt630?
Does it have the same soft and comfortable feeling? How different is it, compared to the pt630.
I suppose it also had twaron.
Anyone compared?
I think you mean the Tour XL, it was basically just an XL version of the 280, an inch longer. Same mold.

Use a rubber band instead...
Have some lessons and learn to hit the ball out of the sweet spot. The vibration damper keeps popping out of my two PT280 racquets, which does not happen with my other racquets. Does that happen to you? Is it my hitting style? It's possible that I am hitting the ball too close to the damper.

Don't think the Lite Tour shares the same mould, it's 21mm thick vs the 20mm of the PT630.
Believe the feel and flex is dissimilar too
But there should be twaron in the layup
More knowledgeable PT630 experts can chip in here... I'm really relatively new to them. But they play lovely
The pt630 does not need a vibration damper. Thats why it is always rejected by your racket.
I believe you're right, the lite tour was thicker, more balanced toward head and stiffer, as I recall. However, it will take CAPs as mentioned above.
Can someone please tell me what modern Head racket Grommet strip I should order for a Head Pro Tour 630, I want the cupped/capped version?
Many thanks in advance.....
LM Prestige MP or MG Prestige MP.
I used the Head Pro Tour 630 for many years when I was playing my best tennis, but for some silly reason I stopped using them and went through lots of poor imitations. W
I started play testing the Babolat Pure Control 95 about 6 weeks and was sure it felt how the Head Pro Tour 630 used to feel.
Anyway I got hold of a PT 630 online, strung this and the PC 95 up the same and did an extensive comparison.
My conclusion......Pretty identical! if I had to mention one difference, I would the PC 95 is slightly softer on contact.
See the specifications comparison below....
