Yonex 308s!!

^I said outsole, not midsole. The midsole provides cushioning. The outsole is here for traction and durability since it's the part of the shoe that is in direct contact with the ground. And I prefer the outside of the heel to be more durable than the inside.
And there are still plenty of SHT-308 at TW.

true, but by next month, it will all get sold out. I sure hope 309' s will be faster than 308. I need more speed

I don't think so. The shoe isn't very popular for some reason. And usually, Nike or Adidas sales are almost $20 cheaper than Yonex, so it doesn't really help.

I know but those Nike Vapors are just way too Inferior to Yonex 308's in Cushioning department. My knees like Yonex better for that reason.

I really wish Yonex would a 6-month warranty on their shoes, as Nike, Adidas, Asics, KSwiss and others do. A lot of money for a toe-dragged like me to fork out, knowing I will have to buy a new pair in 2-4 months.

They'd need to go with a harder outsole. I definitely burn through my 304s faster than I go through Prince or Nike durability outsoles.

Still, I think that Yonex makes some of the best shoes out there.

It also costs that much to make Yonex.
Yonex charges $100 for 308's, Barricades are $120 and you get two of them within 6 months...
Air Ballistecs are $130 and again, you get two pairs for that money...

Better.
I did the TW Propulse 4 playtest. 308 is more comfortable and cushioned. I just wore my 308's to play in today. Great shoe, one of my favorites.

I have 2 pair of 308s and there is no way Babolat shoes would ever be as good for cushioning. But just my opinion.

I know I agree with you. but oddly, TW gave Babolat and Nike shoes higher Comfort rating in their reviews.

I actually have a pair of Propulse 4's as well as the 308's. They are not even close to each other in cushioning. And the winner is Yonex. I have bad knees and when I play in the Babolats they hurt my knees. I don't have that problem with my Yonex.

Right Yonex dropped an Egg from 5 story building on the shoe and Egg did not break.

I remember asking something about shoes to TW testers. I remember Andy saying that the shoe didn't fit well for most of them for some reason. Not to mention the rather weak ventilation.

I've found the 304 series to have a wider toe box than the T22, and less pointed. The 308 isn't as wide as the 304, so I don't know how different it is compared to the T22.

The superergo-shaped last (304) on Yonex shoes is good for those with wide toe boxes. The more recent 254D series is said to have a similar last.

I tried a pair of 308 on today. I liked them , a good solid shoe but the arch support felt like it was too far back. It missed the center of my arch by 3/8 inch. I'm afraid it would rub me raw.

anyone else have this happen?

Nope. I also think if you wore them they could conform to your feet more after breaking in.

The 254D's are more roomier in the toe area, yet the 308's fit without discomfort as well.

I used to have aches in my foot( like Plantar fasciitis ) from non arched and well cushioned tennis shoes,happy to say no more, Thx Yonex your a cut above the rest of the tennis shoe mfg's

It's available in Japan market now, last night Stan wearing it in his match with Falla.

I have Japan 308/SHT 26M and it supplied with 2 sets of lace, black and red one.
Even the insole is different from what we have at 308.
