DJOKOVIC! Nobody was or is as flexible as he is as far as I can see. He is practically made out of elastic.

I put John Morrissey (Stanford's number one) on the list because he is practically a carbon copy of Djokovic but a hella lot worse.

I have no idea how Djokovic can slide on HC almost doing splits running back and forth for all these years, it's what I respect him most for, as I'm not really into his game.

Eh, besides slight nuances in their game, I feel Djokovic and Nadal are actually quite similar. Djokovic is a little more aggressive and Nadal is a better grinder.

I think Djokovic and Dimitrov are both just as flexible. Djokovic can obviously utilize it more with his game.

Doesn't Federer get a spot in that list somewhere? At least when he was younger.

merwy, Doesn't Rosewall get a spot in that list somewhere? At least when he was younger (around 1960...). Muscles was famous for his flexibility in shooting, running, footwork and jumping.

Yes, Clijsters was like the female Djokovic.

Clijsters was more flexible than even Djokovic, IMO. I've seen her do complete splits on a hardcourt...whereas Djokovic only maybe 90% splits...and then stops. Kimmy had a more natural split motion...I've seen Novak straining himself a couple times on those near-complete splits. Of males only, then yes Novak wins hands down...if we include both sexes...then Kim over Novak (and I don't mean that sexually).

I honestly don't want a tennis player out there doing the splits. It's tennis after all, not ballet.

To me the biggest boner I ever got is watching Federer uncoil into a massive forehand. That's the biggest orgasmic release in tennis.

Jeez you are one weird guy. Getting all horny watching a dude hit a yellow ball with a graphite stick. You really need to get your hands on an issue of GQ or Playboy.

Clijsters made that Fiona face every time she did a split (it definitely wasn't that natural) and didn't go 100% either..far from it. Djokovic uses his flexibility far more often than Clijsters did and frankly, he just looks so much more natural than her when in those positions. Djokovic likes to do splits when he is playing minigames with his buddies during practice.

Has anyone mentioned Serena yet? She is even more flexible than Clijsters, but she doesn't call upon it very often. Jankovic is another one who deserves mention.

What is your list?
1. Djokovic
2. Monfils
3. Dimitrov
4. John Morrissey
5. Nadal

Djokovic is made of rubber and can bend, stretch, twist and distort his body into any shape possible in order to retrieve and return a ball!

It's even more remarkable that he can do all these things day in day out without sustaining any serious injuries to his physique.

IMO his body is just made for tennis!

Do you know the flexibility it takes, to hit the ball with your knees on the ground and re-direct it?

It's taken a toll on her now but when she was healthy it was beautiful to watch.

Not that much to be perfectly honest.

It is energy consuming though.

Djokovic is Mr. Fantastic.

Clijsters is the only WTA player I can think of who consistently slides on hardcourts.

Ok.

I beg to differ. I know enough to realize that bending your knees and bunting the ball back is not tantamount to extreme flexibility.

Then you don't understand what flexibility is and how it pertains to the physics of the human body.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Fed yet.

He splits as much as Djokovic, but he knows how to do it efficiently to where he's not almost doing a 180.

Roddick was actually very flexible. Especially his arm for the serve, and regularly did the splits on the grass at Wimbledon if I remember correctly.

Obviously Djokovic is one if the most flexible if not the most in men's tennis all time. Other notable mentions are out there and have been covered, but where all else is equal, it's the frequency in which Djokovic uses his flexibility that puts him up there.

Federer is not as flexible as Djokovic or nowhere near his level. The reason he can't end up "doing a 180" is because he is incapable of going that far.

But I didn't expect you to know this given your ignorance about flexibility in the human body.

Yes, Roddick is very flexible with his shoulder joint. This one website on biomechanics stated that he had the highest external shoulder rotation of any tennis player they had analyzed serving.

He was stiff as a board everywhere else though.

Right.

Federer doesn't need to do 180's like Nole because his footwork and anticipation is better, plus he knows when to just give up a point, and that reaching that much for a ball is an almost guaranteed lost point.

Federer has played a long time because he's been able to take care of his body and know when to go and know when not to.

You still don't understand why Radwanska is one of the most flexible.
