NBA 2013-2014 Discussion, keep it classy

Forgot the Cleveland guards when Lebron was there?

Eric Snow? He was a good floor general and facilitator. He knew he wasn't a flatout scorer, but a point guard. So he did point guard things which was beneficial to all the teams he was on.

Mario Chalmers takes bad shots, makes bad (often times soft) passes, and is a defensive liability. A lot of times, he tries to stat up his numbers even though he's not a scorer. Basically, I think he tries to do Russell Westbrook things but with half the talent and athletic abilities.

Not to mention he once said something ridiculous, claiming he's a top point guard in the league.

Mind-boggling luck for the Cavs but they'll mess this one up too!

With #4 and #12, the Magic look strong but do they package those two and move up???

Lebron and Dwayne took over. Good to see things going back to normality although I do like Indiana on account of Larry Bird and what he put together.

Not dissing you NBA fans out there but this is really boring style of basketball. Please someone just win 3 in a row and be done with this series.

Dan Gilbert must have some pics of Stern or Silver for Cleveland to get #1 over and over again. The lottery has to be changed somehow, either limit it to the bottom 5 teams or just do away with it altogether.

Indiana blew their chance to put Miami in dire straits IMO. I can see Miami winning it in 5 now.

Orlando is in a good spot, this is a much deeper draft than last year and plenty of value will be there at 4 & 12. Exum at 4 and Randle at 12 wouldn't be that bad at all for the Magic.

Haha, I like it. I think I said it a few pages back that if it was up to me, Chicago/Memphis/San Antonio will play on national broadcasts every night.

I'm ok with defensive stops left and right, and people getting bulldozed over left and right. "Boring" basketball is very precise. But that's not to say I don't enjoy the hero-ball of Oklahoma Thunder/Golden State Warriors/LA Clippers either.

The Pacers can only restrain the Heat so much...Heat is revving up, Whatcha gonna do 'bout it?

Keep giving the number 1 pick, sooner they'll be owing the worse record for getting the most number 1s (save LBJ). Who knows, LBJ might just decide to collect some rings and give back!;)

Sure, LAkers and NY's Phil Jax will be jockeying for his services...will see, this could be very interesting one, probably much more so than the ''taking our talents to South Beach''.

All I care now is, where is LOVE going? Staying put? He doesn't seem to be too happy. Go to Phil Jax's Knicks via Melo trade? Or Pau for Love in LA plus side deals?

Pau for Love in LA plus side deals sounds more realistic. Min says they are not shopping Love, he isn't happy...seems more like what Melo went through with Denver. I wouldn't trade Melo for Love are you nuts.

Don't think Jax honestly wanted Melo to remain in the fold but he knows Melo's intrinsic value for trading purposes.

He's already said he's gone after '14/'15 and his short wish list is rumored to be Chicago and GS. SoCal boy going NorCal? Steve Kerr would love that!

In that case, he'll be just fine anywhere in CA. But I hope he makes it to the Big Apple.

Wow, apparently she gained like 13.7 thousand twitter followers yesterday because of the draft and she is now a minor celebrity. What a world we live in. she looks old for 18. She looks older than all the freshman I see at my uni.

The Bucks season will do that to anyone

What's going on with the NBA Playoffs schedule?

Game 3 isn't until Saturday. That's 4 days after Game 2. I understand "travel days" but it doesn't make any sense. In some of the earlier series, "travel days" were nonexistent.

Big Fundamental thundered OKC! Go Spurs!

Meanwhile, hopefully like Chuck says, LBJ goes back to CAVs fold and win a couple for them (where it all started).

I might have gotten this right. We'll see.

It will be interesting because this man has no shame and was a successful lawyer before his real estate days. I read such a court case could drag on for many years. I guess he's rich enough to continue without sponsors?
He could sell the team to his wife for a dollar. This would probably satisfy everyone.

I think when LeBron James' career is finished, he will think about getting neck surgery based on the amount of flopping and head-rocking he does.

I remembered seeing a video of him hurting his neck just months prior to going pro. Unbelievably, it doesn't seem to bother him all that much. Perhaps he's wired differently.

Well Ibaka had his Willis Reed moment tonight. This was a must win for OKC and they did it. SA needs to regroup now or risk losing control of the series and having game 5 turn into a must win for them.

I don't expect Serge Ibaka to repeat his performance in Game 4. He was noticeably hurt with a good limp/hobble at the end. And he's not coming back after week(s) off, he's coming back after one day.

Here's a thought, since they're changing the review system for next year, can they also review fouls too?

I mean come on, Miami Heat flops like their titles depends on it. If there was contact, fine. But let's start taking away fouls because someone's neck goes into spasm.

Voegel is a tactical dunce. You have Hibbert, who gave the Heat hell in the playoffs last year, relegated to being stuck as a decoy or side piece.

Voegel must have went to the same school as Fratello, Thibideau, Mike Brown, Jeff Van Gundy when it comes to offense. No flow at all, sloppy execution, just give it to the star and let everyone just stand around.

He can't manage his locker room. Hibbert's ego has been deflated, Stephenson still thinks he is all-star despite being the definition of mediocre, Hill can't boil water, let alone run an offense, and George needs to show more hunger and fight.

I hope the Spurs/Thunder humble the Heat because the Pacers are done.

I'm hoping so. Watching those guys fall down every other trip down the floor is ridiculous.

I get that, tactically, it gets you to the charity stripe (or at least gives you possession), but where's the honor?

De ja vu for the Spurs. Game 5 is a must win. Spurs need to get Duncan more involved in the offense. And at least try to slow down either Durant or Westbrook. The Heat would rather face OKC than the Spurs

The NBA would rather want an OKC vs Heat finals but you are correct, the Heat would rather face the unproven OKC than face 4-time champions. Westbrook will try to barge in the way he is used to and get knocked over the next game for sure.:-|

What's wrong with Lance Stephenson?

He's on a contract year, a legend like Larry Bird set him aside and told him to stop with the antics, and what does he do?

Slap people on the face, with one of them resulting in a flagrant.

Seriously, what's wrong with that fool?

Like when the Pistons ran Larry Brown away in 2006, the Loonatics are running the asylum.
