I'm on the verge of calling in the order. Will be ready to play again in a few weeks after torn muscle/tendonitis in forearm. Stepping "down" from Youtek IG Prestige Pros to a lighter and more arm friendly stick. Been reading this blog religeously daily about racquet parameters and this Volkyl looks really good on "paper". Although the "RA" rating is not nearly as low as many others, all in all with the Volkyl technology and the larger open bed with the proper (help!?) strings and tension I am thinking I can have a comfortable, maneuverable, powerful, and controllable stick for old-man 4.0 doubles. Anyone with experience with this Organix V1 Mp is welcome to share your opinion of it. Thanks ahead of time.

This racquet is inferior to the V1 classic and the v1 pro. I suggest you try those first.
I think V1 MP is one of the best in this weight class. I use a hybrid (cyclone/syngut @ 50/49) for a little more power and ball speed.
The spin potential is really good, and if you hit with topspin technique you might like it more than V1 classic or V1 Pro. But I do find I trade some penetration for V1 MP's low swing weight.

I agree with FK .......and at the current close-out price TW has the classic V1 is a can't miss !
"inferior" in what way...can you expound?
I was thinking that a racquet this light and with a large open stringbed would have power to spare and would probably need to be "toned down" a little for control! I am a topspinner from both sides. I am going to the lighter weight to save my arm at my age (67). Thanks for your input.

Feel, power and control. The classic has feel and plow through unlike other light racquets.
Especially stepping down from a prestige. The classic and pro have players frame DNA underneath the comfort. The organix is too light, too low swing weight, etc.
The classic is a classic for a reason.

Here again i must agree with FK ...... I'm just sorry I came late to the V1 (Classic) ... incidentally, I found the pro somewhat lacking in power compared to the classic and at 79 I can use a little power boost on serves.
If you insist on an Organix racquet i found the Ox7 a much better fit for the older player than the Ox V1 pro.
I overlooked the Classic because of the 69 stiffness rating. I do understand, however, that this rating does not NECESSARILY mean that this could not be a "comfortable" racquet for my healing arm. Maybe the famous Volkyl technology can make a racquet comfortable even with such a relatively high stiffness rating. That is why I am asking people for their personal experiences with these racquets. Don't let that RA rating bother you ... the classic plays with a lot of feel (old-style player's racquet feel- as someone said earlier it has a lot of player DNA in it) .... the Volkl engineers have designed a very comfortable racquet even tho it has a stiff rating.
The Ox7 (295), which i have hit a ton with has a rating of 74, but you would be hard put to find a more comfortable racquet.
Like you I was initially afraid to go there because of those rating, but I found trying is believing. I am really liking my Classic V1's and more importantly I am playing very good tennis with them.
I have not demo-ed the org v1 but I have 3 of the org v1 pros.
I think most above are saying the classic v1 is better is due to higher SW. Add 3 to 4 grams of lead tape to the head of the org v1 and you will likely have a beast.
The v1 pro is a great racket in stock form but I have mine beefed up to 347g, 6HL, and 338ish SW. It is great like this.

This is probably true ..... tho I have tinkered with my V1 classics : replaced grip with leather , plus a little lead under the grip, and an overgrip and dampener bring the weight (strung) to 11.2 oz and the balance 5HL .... the thing is the classic is apparently being phased out and TW is now selling it for $99.99 ....... a bargain that's hard to resist when the others are going for nearly twice as much.

I bought 2 x V1 MP last year, when recovering from tennis elbow and also looking for a more powerful frame. I played very well with it - it does make tennis easier and is surprising stable for its light weight.
Due to the much lower price and slightly beefier Classic version, I would go that route if I was choosing today.

I am just about sold on the Classic now. still in therapy for the torn muscle and tendonitis in my playing arm but only a couple of weeks left before I can hit some balls. Gonna put the order in soon, waiting til the last minute to decide between the V1 Classic, the Org. V1 Pro, and the Org V1 MP. I like them in that order at this point.....
